ummm...Yes it is. Cartoons to make your point? Grow up. The politics wont change til animals can vote. There is NO comparison to gay marriage, and THAT isnt even settled law. The entity YOU see as "someone" is seen by 90 percent of the World population as an animal. Change that....then you might have a chance.

I'm not sure I agree with @Gregory that zoo's going to someday be full on like pedophilia where even possessing zoo porn will be illegal. I hope not, anyway. I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before zoo acts get criminalized in all 50 states, but I'm not sure it'll go quite that far. If it does, hopefully drawn stuff will at least still be legal. Call me a hypocrite, but I think loli porn should be banned...

And @saddlebum66 I've been to the Rodeo de Santa Fe, as well as a few state and county fair rodeos, and while I haven't seen any animals get killed, I have seen them get hurt.

Actually, my reasoning for mentioning the very popular cartoon in this circumstance is a very grown up reason of looking at it, because instead of looking at it and going "simpsons said it so it must be true" my point is to bring up the exposure created by the cartoon. The issue was brought to light by a majorly popular, mainstream outlet that even children will see, the idea that "a human should be able to marry who they love no matter who or what that is!" Has been brought forward so many times by these outlets. You want to write them off because "cartoons" but this is exposure and potential normalifying virtue signaling. It's a VERY big part of politics! So maybe listen to my point next time before instantly jumping to insult me because you don't understand.

Poor babe....All the concepts in the world....Virtue signalling least among them....are not going to change facts. I say again....When animals can vote, you'll have a chance. The effect you're claiming might work with juvies who grew up on Disney Princesses, but the real world is the real world. Brian did a lot of things and "made it seem normal"? To whom? There is no link between the two. Historically, the Lbgt movement rejected ours, because it was going to hold them back or make them fail completely

Womens Rights were fought for by and with people who fought for abolition, until the end of the Civil War. Then the two split, much to the detriment of both, ultimately. Read a history book or two, move away from Matt Groening's Brilliant little farce, and join the real world. There ARE ways that could make acceptance a moot point, unless you want to drop trou and do Spotty on the Mall, but the cartoons not only wont help, theyre a hindrance. No one with any influence takes them seriously. Never will. How does one get accepted? One is accepted when one is part of a majority. One is accepted when one has superior force over others. One is accepted by bombarding others about one. You just throw zoo at the others repeatively and constantly and until they become desensitized and used to it. That's how it works. The LBTG is accepted simply because they constantly scream LBTG. Now, they're a powerful force to be reckoned with. Same with the racial shit going on right now. Screaming Racist over and over until it's gone. It's become a very powerful force. Well for a guy who knows very little about zoo (read your profile and posts) what makes you think we need to be accepted ? For a lot of zoos we just live quiet lives just getting on with our own business and really don’t need an armchair know nothing beating the drum

That may be fine for you but you can't speak for others. you CAN however, fight for them. The way I see it, it's just another form of misunderstood love. Something beautiful and worth fighting for. I'm not saying you need me to fight for it. I'm telling you that I WANT to fight for it. Acceptance may not be necessary to you, but try to tell that to those of us who have been forcibly seperated from our animals and accused of abuse to the people we loved, nevermind the incarceration and fines associated. All for a person who wanted to "Love Illegally."
