I can take a look at the settings for groups, but really the groups plugin and the forum software both desperately need to be updated. I've asked the server owner probably close to 6 times now about upgrading everything (which would be like an hour's worth of time to do), and each time he basically ignores me about it. From what I can tell from looking at it in the past, everything ***should*** be configured correctly in the admin panel, but it doesn't work right. I could just flat out disable the plugin for groups, and that would save our mod team here some headaches, but I know that would upset a good amount of users on here.

Oh...if updating everything removes the "unable to access the website issue" at certain time periods,then it will be a good thing to do so.I had faced the issue sometimes but i didn't had it nowadays but if the problem exists in anyway and if upgrading the server and everything does help it then i am rooting for that.

The group plugin is old and it is broken.
It is broken to such an extent that we can not effectively do moderation in them either. For example, when you delete someone's threads for any reason, those in groups stay undeleted, usually.

as may be....You could make a point that Group owners weed their gardens once a month....I do.
 
The site has been having weird issues the last couple of days. I know about the disconnection at midnight, whatever that is, but here lately there have been a lot of database errors and other issues that have been randomly popping up. Just want to give someone a heads up.

Hi, I noticed this morning that the Non-Zoo > Women thread has been reset. I only see a few threads that are very recent. Is it normal, a bug (on my side maybe ?)
 
Can you post a link to the damaged section? I do not see anything wrong anywhere.
 
I'm looking at that, it seems fine. Must've been a server purge. Sometimes set to clear out the very old stuff. May have set it to clear more than that. But hey, clean slate!

Mesages have been deleted in part of the site.

Not that bad. Consider those who worked really hard to post 12 messages and be able to pester....er DM users, suddenly turned to no DMing lurker again 😱

I don't understand the problem here, that many people are upset about it. OMG, I lost my status... Shouldn't it be more about having a clean forum without all this junk that was posted? Are you here to achieve a status or to have a good time? To exchange ideas with nice people, to discuss, to discover new things, etc.?

My attention isn't to brag about my posts or achieve popularity but with effort to be part of this community and not like others who spam or post abusive content that still lurks here .

what's the point of discussing anything when someone then just goes and nukes most of it "just because"?

there was no quality control over this wipe whatsoever (well, besides mods cherry picking their own threads to not-delete), just blanket nuke of random sections of the forum.
this exchange may very well be nuked by this time next year too, "just because"...

then try and become a mod or higher here so u can make the decisions urself - the mods here do a big and hard job sometimes u cant take care of all small details and need to act in a bigger relation

and ur post number are only numbers u can try and ask floofy to set them back up again if thats ur problem

was there a decision tho? even floofy seemed surprised. called it "deleting history" too. which i agree with.

and while i did lost approximately half of all the replies i ever made here, i don't really give a shit about the number itself (not like it means anything), but it's a nice indication of how clumsily was the nuke done considering i generally didn't ever participate in the shit that was supposed to be targeted in the first place (personal ads/foreign language/random thirst shit). they burned the forest to get rid of one ant hill or whatever the saying goes.

Are you interested in your commenst from a year ago? Because I don't care, if they get deleted, they get deleted.
The comments and conversation is taking place in the present.

We agree that these sections shouldn't have been cleaned up and 70-80% of my, your, and Floofy's disappeared posts were in them.

These should be restored.

The exclusive zoophilia section is the one that was rightfully cleaned up, because only 1 out of 10 was an exclusive topic thread, the rest are all fetishists, because the users on this forum are so fucking stupid that they can't understand what the word exclusive means. You know, that's why I don't care what the fate of this forum will be, because there are idiots in it.

But, I don't understand why the exclusive section had to be deleted and not moved to fetish section when it was cleaned up. I was noticed a long time ago during the moderation, that they delete instead of move. That's why I didn't report threads, because the moderation activity is questionable.
Yes, it would be the admin's job to pay attention to this and oblige the moderators and mandatory the same moderation procedures, because everyone is doing their "job" differently right now. This is a police state like the USA.

This is a big pile of crap forum, I don't care if the forum software, which hasn't been updated for 3 years, is buggy, full of security holes, and tomorrow morning will never start again due to a major bug.
And users are crying that Telegram is not secure, while they are using a thousandyearold buggy forum that is public and no one knows who monitors the server or where the data goes. I'm telling you, this forum is full of retards.

Here, I was honest. People want honesty, now here's honesty. I got +20 people who will hate me. 🤷‍♂️
 
Just about all of the classifieds for each state got nuked as well except for the three most recent posts. So any threads for say, Texas, classifieds are all gone. And just about every other state.

These were deleted for a reason, because they contained a lot of content that violated the rules and the ads are outdated anyway. It's not normal for someone to respond to a 2-3 year old comment in the ads section. Delete. They was right.

Many of these threads were literally written the day before. They were definitely not old at all.
