Neutered male sex information gathering

I mean I grew up in 4-H n FFA, raising livestock so I understand what castration is intended for, always should investigate n etc....I guess I'll have to hope for the best Thk u
 
You kinda can’t. He pretty much has no sex drive. Read around on the site. Lots about the topic.
 
You probably won't have any luck. Even my neutered male who still shows plenty of sexual interest is incapable of mounting.
 
Possible but for a very small amount of neutered dogs and only in certain situations.
Castration is done to prevent sexual behavior not to encourage it.
 
Yes, it is possible. But libido will vary on the individual. I've found neutered pit bulls to retain the highest drive post-op but you might get just as lucky with any other breed. It all depends on him. For a male with retained interest, they can still go thru all the motions -- mount, enter, thrust, full erection, full knot size & duration etc. The only thing missing is the semen. It's a dry orgasm the whole time, so be prepared to use plenty extra lube.

But to me, it's not the same experience. Without the semen, the scrotum to foreplay with, and the deeper hormonal drive behind it all, I feel a palpable lacking in intimacy with neutered males. If you're still on the fence and haven't gotten a dog yet, definitely do what you must to stick with intacts.
 
It has been in my experience the Labs have a very high sex drive. My chocolate lab Huey is fix and still humps everything. He still gets a full erection and knot.

One of the primary reasons to cut a dog's balls off is to stop him having any sexual interest.

And it works in the vastly overwhelming majority of cases.

Every now and then, it's possible to bump into an exception. And that's exactly what it is: An exception.
 
Can be from an undescended testicle when the vet did the cutting. In horses theyd call it "proud-cut", and it happens. Vets sometimes might leave it not wanting to do a more major surgery....occasionally a sloppy vet might not even notice. It shouldnt be an issue, but you might want to let the Vet know.
 
A number of reasons for it, but it is possible. You could have a dog with a testicle undescended, a bit of reproductive tissue might have been left and still works more or less, or it could be simply habituation. If the dog was getting a regular session with owner, and liked it, even losing the wedfing tackle might mot prevent jom from seeking out that contact.

I know it is harder to have sex with a neutered dog, but is it possible? VERY new at this!! TIA

I personally quite like that hormones are not a factor in my dog (though him being intact would obviously be preferable) because I know that he's choosing to be involved purely because he finds it pleasurable, rather than being guided by a "hormonal drive".
 
I've been with several neutered male dogs over the years. I have only seen a few (2-3) who had little to no ability or interest. As another poster mentioned, there is usually no ejaculate. I have seen maybe 3 or 4 who would dribble a bit after a lot of teasing.

Age at surgery is questionable. I had a dog who was cut at 10 WEEKS (before I got him) and he had a pencil dick. He was surprisingly horny and humpy, and loved to face-fuck me. He would often as knot initiate it. He would stay hard for 5-10 minutes and be ready for another go after a half hour or so.

Some of them are a bit skittish at first. Be gentle and they might just come to like it.

Most of them I started by groping, squeezing, rubbing, etc. while petting and cuddling. A few did actually initiate it, though, mostly by mounting / humping. But dogs tend to do that naturally, even if they are neutered. The difference was that I did not discourage them unless other humans were present.
 
Isnt it a little crazy that this is a topic at all? Neutering is fucking awful and inhumane. Its just an excuse for bad dog owners to blame when they dont properly take care of the animals they keep captive in their homes...
 
I don't know about elsewhere, but here in the Frozen North, if you adopt a dog they are neutered before you can take them home. It's been that way for going on 50 years. About the only way you can get an intact dog is to buy one from a pet shop in the mall. Those are both fast becoming few and far between. Pet shop dogs almost invariably come from puppy mills in the lower Midwest. Been there, done that, when I was young and stupid. Have the stacks of old Vet bills to prove it.

Most of my more recent dogs have been mutts from the pound, all of whom have come to me minus their balls. I generally end up with the older boys that nobody else wants. The dog before the one I have now was an 8-10 yo Border Collie mix. He was a sweet, gentle boy with good looks and nice manners. He loved to cuddle but also enjoyed a good suck. He learned pretty quickly that it only happened when we were alone. Unfortunately, I lost him to cancer after only 2 years.

The current guy (also neutered) has about the nicest cock I've seen on a dog in a long time. He rarely lets me suck him, though. He's OK with a quick hand job when the mood strikes him and MAYBE he'll let me have a little taste now and again. Oh, well... You guessed it, he's a Husky mix. They're like that.
 
I have a neutered dog now and sometimes when I get home and he's happy to see me, he will get an erection and his know will swell up a little bit. I didn't think he would have a sex drive but maybe he does? I have enjoyed oral sex with past pets but never even considered it with him because he was neutered. I wonder if he would get pleasure from me sucking him off, or if he would even be into it.
 
My boy was neutered on advice of vet.
Familh pet and this secret lifestyle I could hardly go against it.
That being said he still mounts and enjoys it. He gets super excited when i start to play and is happy to climb on and mount me.

It seemed like his knot was oversensitive and it got painful for him, but he was fine as long as he pulled out after the thrusting but before knotting.

If your fixed dog likes to hump other dogs that might bump up your chances a bit but still plan on no. That's how my dog started. I encouraged his humping behavior with the other dog for a while then one day when he was ready to hump the dog I put myself in front of him and after a while of doing that he decided to give me a shot.

That’s why I will never get a dog neutered, I have enough of you’re same situation with my husky and he will hump and play but he just refuses to let me tie the knot. So when i go to the vet and they recommend it, im just straight up gunna be like no. Regardless of what they think why I want him to keep his nuts

Dont know if my boy will knot. I havent dared try it since before he was neutered.

He was loving life and really going for it and knotted inside me. Eventually he pulled out hut didnt end well for me so not dare since.

So he never knotted you with nuts? But now he’s neutered he does now? My husky only really likes a jerk off but now refuses to try and Mount unlike prior to when he was neutered.
