How Many People do You Chat With

Most of my convos have disappeared from the other person never following up. But, ya know sometimes I don't either if I'm not feelin' it ?‍ I try to not be the one to do that though.

I agree with the OP in that zero-effort convos from the other person are a total drag. If the other person is just not a good conversationalist, then that gets tiresome really fast for me too.

I don't like to have too many going at once - I'm at a good spot with two or three.

So now four months later and a little bit of time away, would you say those conversations have continued and carried over or essentially gone dead due to lack of interest or ability to maintain contact?
Personally speaking, I don't talk to many people on the forum via DM. The few I have engaged with, it's mostly been navigating unwanted advances, some conversations have thankfully circumvented your typical subject matter though! Specially talking about music interests or what they enjoy outside of Zoo related topics. Which I find to be a real fresh breath of air!

After having taken a break from being on here, some of the conversations I had before I have continued on like I was never gone. Some conversations are just completely dead. And then a couple are basically starting over again and building up. So it’s pretty mixed.

It is always nice to talk about other things outside of zoophilia. Honestly, there’s only so much that you can talk about with zoo with a lot of people. Horny talk will only get you so far.

Yeah, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with letting a conversation naturally die off. it’s like talking to someone out in real life. Once you both feel like there’s a good place to end the conversation you just say you’re goodbyes or you move on. I definitely don’t enjoy being the person to end the conversation or not reply to something. Obviously, I want to be nice. But then my time and energy can only be stretched so far and at times conversations hit a point where it’s taking too much energy to continue on.

2 to 3 solid conversations I feel like is this sweet spot. More than that and it feels pretty draining. so for me, I’ll choose a handful of people to poor more thought and energy into with talking with and then I’ll try to divvy out the rest of my time and energy to other messages that aren’t too bad. Ones where I feel like I’m just doing all the heavy lifting, I’ve just started to ignore.

I find it hard to have conversations with persons regularly. Not everyone has the ability to maintain a decent conversation already, but then to have continued conversations over an extended period is a hard ask for a lot of people. Especially when the conversation always goes back to a sexual nature. Because when the horny is gone, you no longer feel like talking and more associate them with just getting off. Some people can navigate both types of conversations really well so they’re not typecast into, “I’m horny so I’ll talk to this person and when I’m not horny, I stop talking to them.”

Yeah. Better risk/reward there for a potential life partner at least. Still just so scary taking that step. Living completely on your own just sounds terrible. I at least always have my mom around. Otherwise, hell no. I’m still somewhat afraid of the dark. I can’t live completely alone.

I’m just curious what people’s chatting habits are on here. It feels like most of the time I message someone, they respond so quick I can’t get to my other messages.

I’m a woman and the vast majority of my conversations are with guys. I have about 15 people that I regularly chat with on a daily basis. Only 2 are women. Only 3 of them have I really gotten to know very well and they know me very well. I have maybe 10 or so dud conversations each day that I can’t commit the energy to reply to the same questions over and over again or that are just “hey how are you” copy pasted every day.

Yeah sadly this site seems to be like 96% guys. So the few of us on here just get a fire hose of conversations. It’s honestly really tiring to sift through conversations in hopes of finding solid people. So by the time we may meet someone worth the energy, we’ve already seen all the pick up lines and had to deal with all kinds of people showing their true colors after we gave our time and energy to them. I feel bad a lot of the time cuz I just don’t have the energy to give to people that are worth talking to.
