Hey everyone

The username baddragontiff is a fake profile. She pretends to be a old hook up partner of a man who has has a Yellow Lab and Cane Corso(might change pending on whom she contacts just my personal experience.) She asks if you want to get to know this person then vanishes to ask her old hook up if he's interested. Once she pops back after a while and says yes, she tries to get you off site. She says the guy is great and super patient, then once discovered she ghosts you. Please be careful.

Just a tip.....one of the main reasons every owner I've ever known will run, not walk away, as fast as possible from any mention of any 3rd party bullshit is precisely because that is always some kind of con. Hands down, if you aren't in direct contact with someone, you are being conned. Even then you might be getting conned, but if there is a supposed 3rd party, it's definitively a con.

This was the first person to message me here with the same story. I imagine the "friend's" location changes as well depending on who they are contacting.

Just a reminder......#1 rule is to STAY on this site when you're chatting, if you go offsite, ZV mods cant do a thing for you.

#2 is to SAVE these DMs. Catfishing is SPECIFICALLY against the site rules. Those DMs, if they contain the attempt, might be enough to get these douchebags banned.

I'll take your word. And only point out that to a large degree, proving the lie is going to be pretty subjective in many, if not most cases. Many different conflicting statements aside, I mean.

The Mods are pretty responsive to the issues. Even when the evidence is light, if they get multiple people reporting, the weight of the reportage has an effect. But if they are not reported, they get away with sometimes awful behavior.

He's messaged me twice separately, with the same message both times, as well as the same thing in multiple threads. I reported as a spammer.

They've been banned here before for putting voice overs on other peoples videos and claiming them as their own and banned from multiple other sites over the years. No real proof but I instantly recognised the voice and the dog archie, its the same act every time

Seems familiar from another user. Funny how someone thats in cybersecurity thinks email and texting is secure.

Every cybersecurity student for the past 40 years has been taught periodic forced password changes make them secure, and that's total bullshit, it actually makes you less secure. The 2 guys who wrote the cybersecurity "bible" that codified that in the 80s have since come out and said they were wrong, yet it's still taught and enforced by every IT school and department in the country. So I wouldn't put any bullshit belief past an actual cybersecurity "expert".

Every single cyber security expert... EVERY SINGLE ONE of those mother fuckers in this website, saw ONE youtube video, or played one video game, or read one magazine article, or stayed one night at holiday inn express are instantly experts. If someone starts a conversation with "I'm an expert in" you can immediately take it as bullshit. Trust me, I'm an expert.
