But yes, while they both don't cuddle, they all do show their affections towards their beloved pack members. We're one small happy little family, and I couldn't ask for more than that.
Unfortunately for some they will always be stuck in the same patterns, the same negative behaviors and attributes, and will not see any problems with it. They'll get stuck in a consistent loop. Sometimes it's caused by ignorance, and sometimes it's cause by stubbornness. I, however, have learned better than to follow the same negative behaviors over, and over, and over again even if it sometimes takes me a while to figure them out. Unfortunately, many will go their whole lives without figuring this out. I'm not afraid to admit that I'm wrong about things, everyone has their own set of irrational beliefs, biases, thought traps, and thought spirals. Realizing you're not above such irrational beliefs, biases, thought traps and thought spirals is one of the first steps towards self-reflection and mitigation or elimination of such behaviors. I also have to knowledge that everything... yes everything... we think we know is incorrect in one form or another, whether minor or major.
It's honestly kinda hard to describe, but what she will do is when I'm petting her chest floof (one of her favorite spot for pets besides her lower back) she will take her paw, lift it up, and gently stroke my arms and legs while I'm trying to pet her. Another thing she'll do is, if I'm not hitting just the right area on her chest, she will take my arm with her paw and guide it to where she'd like to be pet. As the spot on the chest she wants pet often changes areas. She pets you back with her paws? That's really adorable. Cuddling is not that important - they seem to be very caring for each other and you as well. Mine wasn't a big cuddler outside of bed as well, but in bed she liked to cuddle either on my legs or body, depending on temperature, even for many hours without any interest to get up, lol.

Indeed, indeed. It comes partially from wisdom gained from experience, and partially from my understanding of human psychology. While I don't do so anymore, when I was younger I used to spend hours upon hours of studying psychology. Not only do you get to figure out the rational of others, you end up learning a lot about your own mind, your own behavior, and how it affects you and everyone around you. That's the same for all living beings. Life would be boring if one didn't need to learn anything.
The difference to many of the human race seems to be: you want to learn and improve. Some don't want to leave their reflected status quo, don't want to learn, just project their experience as "that's it" without opening any thought for possibility of improving.
