I'm doing alright, besides a tad bit of indigestion from last night's pizza. I probably should pop a half of an antacid tab. I'm hoping the coil I installed into my vape yesterday will be better than the last 3. I'd hate to switch to a different brand as I've been using the same one for well over 2 years now, but it seems their quality is getting worse and worse over time. It used to be that I'd get more good/okay ones than bad ones, but here lately it's been more bad/okay ones.

Welcome to our floofy MareFloofer! ???
A good day to you, hope weather and motivation are both in acceptable shape. ☀️

Nah, she has a habit of rolling on her back when she wants to rest/sleep. She's since rolled back over to her side and is trying to snooze through the *tap, tap, taps* of my keyboard.

Wow, that's something quite rare! Dogs which I care for at my places are always curling together, aside if the room is heated above 23°C. Then they might lay length-wise flat vertically over my sitting or laying places. Yes, why not - it effectively blocks more room than a human, lol. :ROFLMAO:

It's not rare for my newfie girl, she loves resting and sleeping on her back quite often actually. Although my littler girl pretty much only rolls on her back when she wants attention, or belly rubs, or both. Otherwise she typically sleeps doing a half sploot or in a C shape like she in now on my big comfy couch.

Now both of them are trying to sleep in a C shape. They are very lazy!! Oddly enough, my two really don't cuddle much with each other no matter the temperature of the room. Every once in awhile they will, but it's usually a once a month sort of thing. Similar to how frequently they cuddle up with me. It's a rare-ish event.

Surprising - I guess your two dog girls are really not into cuddling. Not easy to understand, even tho each of those magnificent individual creatures has their own liking and disliking. (y)

One of the two cared-for dogs would basically lay down on your head if that resulted in more attention from you, lol. :ROFLMAO:

Yep, my two girls certainly are individuals of course. They are fairly autonomous and allowed to be themselves, within reason. Some of my littler girl's odd quirks and behaviors can probably be attributed to her likely abusive upbringing from her previous owners. All I can do is make sure she has the absolute best life she can have with me, as she's a cherished and valued member of my pack. Don't know about my big girl. In the very beginning she had some trust issues as she got bounced from home to home before coming to live with me, but we're WAAAAY past any such issues now since she's been with me for years and years. She knows she's not going anywhere, she knows she's an absolutely cherished and valued member of our pack.

They're just... themselves. Lovely beautiful creatures that most of humanity quite frankly doesn't deserve. And since they've been with me for years now, I'd imagine they are pretty set in their ways, which includes not being huge fans of cuddling. It's unfortunate because I'd cuddle them all day long of they'd let me, but I wouldn't want to force it on them either, of course. It just is what it is. ?‍♂️

Welcome to the floofer-Deagle and the others! ?❤️?

Regarding sled-dog race supporting as a vet: if you have a good down-filled sleeping bag certified for at least -15°C and warm (skiing, as example) clothes, that should work fine, even in unheated buildings.

Either staying active (moving around in water-repellent, warm clothes and boots) or keeping yourself in such an insulating deep-temperature compatible sleeping bag or duvet. If you don't stay active, you'll get cold after not even 15-20 minutes in else "warm enough" clothes. :gsd_happysmile: Less muscular activity, less losses, temperature goes down quickly, illnesses follow. Just my 2 cents - you probably know this out of experience, anyway.

That's fully understandable, best solution to accept them with their individual characters. ❤️
If they had a partially unfortunate uprising with prior owners, it surely left traits in their development and behaving.

If they're friendly with each other and you, that's the most important aspect. (y)

That’s all we can do is give them the best life imaginable. I got my girl when she was 9 weeks old so I know she’s had an amazing and somewhat spoiled life from the beginning and I know your doing the same with your girls.
