Oh, that sounds busy, indeed - but at least you don't seem to be annoyed or stressed by the training. (y)

I drank some wine for an easier loosening of sad thoughts and am working on an electrical project including a high capacity Li-battery while checking the 'ville from time to time and answering to random, but humoring threads. ?

Found that "puking avatar thread", gave me a good laugh. :ROFLMAO:

Eh, actually the training was quite boring and tedious. Normally it's a mix of videos and text, but this one was pretty much ALL text as well as the quizzes I had to take after each section. It took over an hour, but I got through it all.

Heh, yeah I couldn't resist editing that profile picture! Pareidolia for the win.

Can imagine.. the boredom of such trainings, but as long as they are not stressing due to incompetent but "requesting" trainers.. it's at least acceptable. After all it's work time which gets paid. (y)

Lol, that picture.. yes, with smiley eyes it looked more acceptable. :ROFLMAO:

I just got a small brain infarct after reading (more like: trying to decode) a quite new short "story" without actual "story" ingredients, which an user posted.

If you see it, you'll recognize it. Couldn't read it wholly due to one-block text and it was more or less very gibberish, but on the other end not exactly what I understand as "animal friendly" or "caring", as such there's a brain disinfect needed.. *drinks some more wine*. As I am not sure which minimum requirements in terms of the rules are necessary there, there was nothing to do, but still.. AARRRHUUUUAAHH, horror.

If Idiocracy has to manifest in reality, please reduce the horniness of people to almost zero, please. *praises the dog-god*

I actually have an idea for what I'm going to be playing tonight. I took a nap earlier and dreamed of a tall narrow house atop a wooded hill with a narrow driveway curving up the hill to the back of the house built in the Sims. And, ya know what, I think I'm going to fire up the Sims 4 and recreate that house from my dream!

Well, not ALL the video games I like are violent.... err... just most of them. Lol. Besides Sims 3 and 4, I also like BeamNG (kind of a car physics simulator, racing game, and open sandbox game), Automation, and Thief Simulator... which is a game about crime, robbing people's houses, but you actually immediately game over if you try to kill someone.

Back in the beginning of my relationship, games we liked came up. And my boyfriend showed me a game he loved playing in his teen years on an old computer in his old room.
"Carmageddon", that was an extremely violent game, which luckily did not have the graphics to show how violent it actually was.

This might be a little "sexist" to state, but while girls/women may play violent video games from time to time, it's usually a thing that boys/men usually partake in. While female gamers usually tend to stick with less violent games. Now I'm curious about statistics...
"Carmageddon"
Looks creepy, at least from the cover art! Lol

Definitely the case in my household.

Well... that didn't take long... lol

"Not surprisingly, boys have been found to be significantly more likely than girls to play violent video games in many studies (e.g., Kasumovic, Blake, Dixson, & Denson, 2015; Olson et al., 2007), and the effect from gender is notable as being a substantively powerful predictor as well (Olson et al., 2007)."

Although this one is a little more surprising, as I figured the numbers would have been at least a little closer...

"A study of freshmen at UCLA found that 80% of female respondents stated that they play less than 1 hour of video games a week , while only 35% of male respondents could say the same. In terms of hardcore gamers, those playing more than 20 hours of video games a week, 87% of these a male and just 13% are female."
