Thursday: Ghostbusters Afterlife
Meh. No idea why they insisted on focusing it on the children, and it tried too hard to "not be funny" after the failure of the 2016 one, but that's just stupid, the original WAS a comedy, there's no reason to turn it into family drama. I did appreciate that they stylized the CGI hellhounds to make them look like they were foam rubber to uphold a visual continuity that the 80s special effects were an aspect of their otherworldlyness, even their compositing felt a little off which fit perfectly.
Yesterday: Eternals
Bleh, long and boring with too much lore attempting to be crammed in.
Today: Ice Age Adventures of Buck
Good lord what a load! Bad story, bad animation, bad characters, bad voice acting, abysmal "jokes". Obvious "direct to video" money grab trash of a franchise they just won't let die, and easily betrays the fact it originally began production as a TV series.
