I am lucky to have been raised in a completely secular family. So glad I wasn't indoctrinated into any religion, it can leave people with sooo much psychological baggage. I do consider myself an atheist, I understand why some people prefer agnosticism and think it's hubris to think you know for SURE what's out there, but...all signs point to atheism so I'm fine it.

Agnostic secular Catholic, but I like drawing from Eastern religion for philosophy as well. Religion for me just reiterates my moral foundations in a readable format. Same reason I like studying ideology. ?

Born and raised a Lutheran, but have slowly drifted away from that when the "family" I had at the church ostracized me when we had an argument, still religious, just non practicing

I was indoctrinated into protistant type faiths... the whole 9 yards till college. Ive been working for decades to undo all the dammage the dogma inflicts upon one... Shame in sex, self, etc. Its taken me decades to dig out.

No more sky wizards for me!
Yeah

Offically (Draconic) Wicca, in detail I follow the Draconic Path with inspiration from Draconic Wicca.

Raised protestant. Mother didn't practice, disliked the church aspect. Father was the only influence; once he left when I was 9, didn't have any reason to continue practicing. Really didn't care for it in the first place, though my paternal grandmother would always try to get me to go back.

Atheist/irreligious from then til I got into Draconic Path early last year. When I saw my guardian for the first time in March, I was set on that as my spiritual path. Now I'm starting to really delve into it, making it my own.

i'm happy that you have less confusion in your life because of the way that you were raised. even though i am an evangelical christian, i cannot share with the other poeple that in my view sexual atitudes must evolve

Although for me it's nothing organized or tangible I voted for:

Pagan/wiccian/ancient religion

I think an ancient nordic religion or maybe an indian religion/spiritualism is the one I would be most likely drawn to. It should include the worship of animals in one form or another.

Other, because I believe in a weird sort of 'Cosmic Consiousness'. The human brain is quite complex and we've finally recognized that animals are able to have self awareness and complex thoughts too! And though we don't understand fully yet the complexities of the brain, we know that it's driven by energy flowing through the 'circuits' , to put it simply . As complex as the human brain may be, I can't believe that as massive and complex as the universe is, that with all the energy flowing in, through and around it that somehow it hasn't become self aware yet!
I don't subscribe to any 'organized' religion because I don't believe it's as cute and dried or simplistic as that. So I stick with Other (Spiritual)

I'm an atheist, but I know religion at large has various, mostly beneficial purposes, so I've learned not to dissuade others from pursuing religious practices or beliefs, in general.

I don't believe in any religion, but I also just like don't really care how I got here. I just know I'm here and that's all I really need to know. Used to go to church, but that's only because my family did too. Any of them trying to get me to become a Christian just had the opposite effect.

Open-minded Catholic Christian. I think we all have spiritial energy that goes somewhere and does something after this life. Maybe another dimension? I know it could all be a bunch of hooey, but I'm still a believer

Was raised highly Southern Baptist, which is a extremely restrictive religion that basically states that everything fun is a sin. Took ages to unlearn those behaviors and finally embrace myself.

I was raised Catholic, and ran QUICKLY from that when I turned 18. Catholicism, Christianity (and other religions) can instill so much shame, guilt, and self loathing in people. It’s sad. Rather than learning to rejoice in our sexuality, we’re taught that anything outside of: doors closed, lights out, missionary position with your opposite sex spouse after wedlock is bad and wrong. I revel in being zoo, and loving my animals. Certainly NOT the good Catholic boy my parents dreamed I’d be. 😜

I consider myself a theistic agnostic. I do believe there's a higher power in the universe, whether that's one or many gods, energies or spirits in things, etc.

Alll of the above - I buck the trend.

Someone (Dawkins?) says the only difference between an Atheist and a Christian/Muslim/etc. is that Athest reject all Gods where as Christians/Muslims/Pagans reject all Gods except one.

But Dawkins doesn’t know me, I reject no Gods. I believe they all represent a view of the true God to some extent and I use believe them all.

Pagan is the most fun to have sex with though.
