My fucking job.
I work in the testing department,so I have to make sure out shit works right, everything fits, etc. There can be a lot of things to pay attention to. Potentially being aspie helps with that, as does taking Adderall. But those also work against me, because I can notice small things that may or may not actually be issues worth fixing/addressing.
The fun part comes when I'm testing som thing and it passes one step, then fails another, and then fails the previous step it passed earlier. After trying for over an hour to track it down, I rub my gloves across the PCB and try again... and it passes both steps. I press some masking tape against the traces and pull it up and find microscopic gold fibers. They were bridging between two trades and causing a short. I talk to my boss, who informs me that he knows about the gold fibers. He says it's a common issue and has been recurring for years with this vendor, which is the only one we buy from. So instead of telling me "hey, X/Y/Z could happen" he just... lets me go.
And now I'm sorting 100 parts that got mixed together. They look exactly the same, except one has a spot that's 0.01" bigger than the other one. So I have to measure each and every one to see which one it is.
