If that's what it's actually about, it COULD work, seeing as THC is fat-soluble... The only issue I can see at a quick glance is "And once the stuff we shot into him soaks up the THC OD, what happens?" It just floats around the bloodstream prolonging the buzz? Or perhaps latches onto the arterial walls as plaque, the same way cholesterol is claimed to do? Or... ? I could see it working (to some degree, at least) if it was a process something like "inject the stuff, give it a while to soak up what it can, then do the equivalent of dialysis (only somehow targeting the material injected, rather than the kidney-type wastes that dialysis goes after) to strip it out of the bloodstream"If intended for Deagle I guess he'll know.
Me? I had to google for it.
Lipid emulsion solution by intravenose. Seems to attach to some liposoluble toxins, even extracting some of the sbsorbed ones
@Deagle113 just wanted to say I really appreciate you sharing your expertise in this thread. I always learn something new and while I don’t currently have any pets, reading the questions of others gives me things to think on.This is the list of voluntary reportable zoonotic diseases of animals in the united states, where I work
Not many of them affect canines, there's a lot more swine, avian, equine and bovine stuff on there. I am not sure about the human side of things, but I would imagine a similiar list would exist. There are very few reportable zoonoses of canines that I can think of off the top of my head other than rabies.
Unfortunately yes, but I'm 100% sure it was taught and not innate behaviorHave you ever seen a racist animal?
Nah... guess they dont exist, at most its just natural instinct of competing for resources against invasive species. then again... you know what happens with exotic species without natural predators.Have you ever seen a racist animal?
yes.Have you ever seen a racist animal?
‘had to’ in which meaning ?yes.
i used to work at a stable, a really big one (specializes in a single breed). it was multiple buildings. the one i was at was for younger (1-2year old) horses. they were kept together as herds of about twelve. black and white ones had to be kept separate, even out in the pasture.
i don't know. it just worked like that long since i started there. the inside of the stable (was a large building, like 40x15 meters) had bars right down the middle to keep them apart (making it 20x15 ish for each herd). i know of a few incidents when one got through, one black to whites or vice versa, and got attacked almost immediately. they didn't do that when we introduced a new one of the same color to a herd of the color.‘had to’ in which meaning ?
That the owner wanted them separated or the herds did it by themselves ?

I work as a mixed animal veterinarian, and am willing to answer any and all animal health questions you may have to the best of my ability. Keep in mind that I’m only one person, and my medical opinion is just that—an opinion, however well informed it may be.
Anything you’re curious about?
