No more human dick pics as profile pic

Out of curiosity, where would mine fall on the scale of, ''appropriateness'' since there is no genitalia.
I didn't really think people cared about nudity here either, but I guess I was wrong. Seems like a real odd thing to get judgmental about if you ask me, especially considering we all have sex with animals. Not to mention there is a porn section that makes up a large portion of the site.
Gonna make the mistake of thinking "Aw, you guys fuck animals, so anything goes", eh?

Just because we all have zoo in common in the various ways that we do, doesn't mean everything else goes by the wayside.

There's a difference between anything goes, and acknowledging that nudity really isn't that weird considering our partners are naked all of the time. I've also read things on this site far more offensive than the ugliest human penis, yet there they sit. Ugliness comes in many forms, and it's disappointing to see people so hung up on one of the most trivial differences in our community, while simultaneously low grade body shaming. Especially considering how much of this site is porn. Perhaps there should be a badge that shows how often people are lurking in the porn section, because I'm sure a lot of people here crying penis on their high horse, spend a decent amount of time there.

Putting one's junk as their avatar means every time they post, everyone must see their junk whether they want to or not.

That's ultimately the issue - the lack of choice.
I'd like to point out that you cant avoid this even if you don't open threads they've commented in... hell technically you dont even have to be logged into the site. If you go to the main forum page... even if you are logged out you can see profile pictures for several subforums of the last poster. Yes they are small, but the fact remains that there is no way to avoid seeing these peoples dicks.

Ahhh... doubling down, eh? Why am I not surprised?

I don know if this is possible but is there some way the mods here can be able to have an option to mark avatar's as NSFW. this way if one is marked as such then someone who does not want to see them can turn off NSFW avatars and they would be blurred out (kinda like how reddit handles NSFW content). Could solve the issue for both groups allowing people who want them (and people who want to see them) able to toggle an option and those who don be able to turn that option off.

That's totally possible but it's just not as easy as it sounds. They would have to recode the forum software to add a feature like this. I'm guessing it would just be a money and complexity roadblock for a forum that doesn't bring in very much revenue.

Yes, he just has to install and configure the addon, or one similar, that I linked near the begging of the thread.

It's a $25 plugin that someone has already made. It's been linked earlier in this thread. NO recoding needs to be done.

Oh, and now you wanna double down when you're showing 18 on the table already? Brave, aincha?
If you are referring to my recent joining, I have been a part of zooville for years. The only reason I've made a new account is for personal security, and considering I make porn and post it here, that should be pretty understandable. Porn you were commenting on by the way...

This is my forever account now. I do understand the value of safe spaces that do not include nudity, but we did all check the little box when we made these accounts knowing there would be at least some degree of it. This does not mean I like pen/vag pics, but as a few people here have mentioned, they seem to sort themselves out one way or another anyhow.

What I really dislike is how awful this thread has been with body shaming and the emphasis of disgust put on the human nudity for what seems like fairly immature reasons. I am going to admit that nudity is more normalized in my life than most peoples, so perhaps it is a me issue, but it does make me sad, because I really thought this was a safe space for all kinds of people. I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable, so I will change my profile pic. (Even if there isn't a pen/vag/butt in it)

There are several such dickpic topics in different parts of the forum, they all look the same, none of them made it to the DF.
And if I remember correctly, there is also a similar topic in DF. 😅
Oh I know for a fact it was in the dumpster fire, as is this is the only one I've responded to and it was in DF before this.

Odd.

Don't pay attention to these people and these kinds of toxic threads. There will always be that one annoying person trying to criticize you for no reason. We all enjoy your content, and you shouldn't change anything, especially your profile picture; it looks fantastic.

It's why I have stopped responding to this largely. Save for a few things here and there.

Bunch of mean-spirited hacks clog up this thread 💅

Would this ad-blocker ultimate work in TOR too, or would I have to reactivate it every time TOR changes the IP addresses it uses?

I don't see anyone's avatars anymore because a while back I installed ad-blocker ultimate, prompted by this discussion. My doing that solved the problem for me but as you just pointed out, maybe not entirely.

I liked his comment, not his avatar which I couldn't see. Easily fixed.

Thanks for the heads up.
Oh, interesting! Yeah, the comment was nice enough but quite the juxtaposition attached to a dick pic.

I’ve never been bothered by the dick pics in the avatars until I realized that people are able to basically post their dick pic wherever they want by just commenting, satisfying a goofy fetish of theirs. But hey, who are we to judge someone on their fetish?

And is that not the point of the reactions button, you are liking the comment/post not the avatar
I’d say it’s a package deal, if you’ll excuse the pun…

Not to be judgemental but its disgusting, I wouldn't like or comment on someone's dick or any other human genitalia avatar neither would I want to talk to someone with those avatars trying to send me a message. I just press the....... Beep... Ignore Button!!!

You are good, some of us don't really care much about people's profile pics. A d!ck/vagina profile is no better than a cartoon pic or whatever, after all it's just a picture nonetheless.
