Have you ever met another Zoo IRL, NOT through a website like Zooville?

I have had 3 ex boyfriends who actually told me. And my current partner didn’t tell me but I found his kik account, which had a zoo themed profile pic and put two and two together
 
I’m so happy to be part of the community. I’m fortunate enough to have met a lady who is interested and after finding this forum, I am hopeful we can meet and make friends with likeminded individuals and couples.
 
My current partner and it was pure luck. Obviously not something I was actively searching for but it's a nice bonus to go along with the strong connection.
 
I met some in the past, but nowaday's you just do not know if you can trust anyone.
Maybe if I got comfortable with someone, then I might meet.

Surprisingly, yes. And not through zoo-specific ways. A friend who I have been sleeping with on and off for YEARS (with an extremely large focus on kink and bdsm) and I were once talking about our deepest taboo etc fantasies and it came out and I was like… well well well. I’m curious because I’ve never met anyone who seemed to even shows sign of remote interest. Like I said, I understand that could be because we have to do that for our own safety, but I’m curious if anyone has ever had an experience where they discovered this shared experience/interest with someone they already knew

I've only ever met zoos from places like discord, tele, etc. But there was one guy I met on Tele in a non-zoo group that was a zoo. He asked me to send him anything porn related, and I sent him an anthro and dog. He tried to seem shocked at first but he was protecting the fact he was a zoo until he knew I was too
 
I met a couple of zoos through IRC eons ago and then some through acquaintances of theirs. I became friends with a couple of locals but over the years we lost touch so now I don't hang out with any more locals. I know some do exist from reading through the classifieds on this site, but I'm too cautious to try to meet anyone. When I met up with some locals years ago the laws were vastly different than they are now.

Thinking about it, I have known more people than I would really ever expect.

My ex, for one. We are both in the furry fandom, and it naturally came about. I have had my own experiences, but he got to give a pooch a helping hand. I wonder if he ever took things further.

An old friend of mine, who also knew about my furry side, would keep alluding to how attractive it is and wanted me to share all the porn I had. It became a thing, and eventually during a night of drunk partying she admitted to me that she has always been sexually attracted to dolphins, and wanted to be fucked by one. I partially opened up about myself, but stayed pretty guarded. She liked that I was into dogs. I only admitted to males, and not that I also like females. I let her bring it up, never myself. It's a bummer things fell apart, because we had a very "open with ourselves" and laid back friendship. Some really great times. Ended for the better, though.

A neighbor growing up, same age as me, was at least intrigued by it. It somehow organically came up, and eventually led to letting me get along with her shepherd mix.

Two other non-online friends were interested and knew about me, but it never became a big topic. I again kept myself pretty guarded.

Otherwise, people I knew online? Again quite a bit! I know of two people who admitted they would get knotted quite often. That was pretty wild when I found out.

It's so weird. Way more people than I would have expected. Though I have that kind of personality where people seem to enjoy talking to me and opening up. I like to listen to people, I suppose, and I do my best to give them my attention and be trustworthy. That's the biggest thing -- allow it to be organic, and build trust. It helped in my case being a furry and having people open and receptive to that around me. I don't know how helpful that is, now, though, at least with how it feels online -- people will get VERY nasty.
 
I've met one...a guy on a local gay Subreddit. We had lots of filthy conversations and it came out. We've shared vids a couple of times...of my dog licking me and of him sucking his dog's dick. We had plans to do more but I've lost touch with him recently. :-(
