Forum seems to be dying?

So this is from the perspective of someone who was actively open to and trying to set up in person meetings. You get very tired of fakes and flakes. Not forgetting the creeps either.

While I was open to the sexual side of it, it was primarily just for meeting like minded people. But after the number of time wasters it creeps I’ve met (most only want to act friendly to get nudes it seems), I’m definitely taking a break. Out of sum 18 people, I did manage to make friends with someone but both of our lives got busy during all of this. The rest just seem to want free porn, and attention.

worse yet I had someone give my information out to a friend of theirs without my consent. Thankfully a burner phone that has since been disconnected but still.

This is not a knock on the board as there are still plenty of good people here, but it’s hard to maintain interest when your inbox gets flooded with BS. I only use this profile pic and user name Incase someone recognizes me from the old beastforum days...

Hun if I were lucky enough there's no way in hell I'd flake, most of these people couldn't imagine how bad I desire a relationship with a woman who loves being with their dog/dogs. ?

Sometimes quiet. Sometimes not. And anytime it is quiet, it has nothing to do with "the times we live in."
If anything, "the times we live in" should make a social place such as this very busy.
 
Being forced to jump through hoops with some offshore e-mail address just to register doesn't seem to help. Even after I finally found this location, it personally took me months to decide whether it was even worth the trouble or not. After all, if we had to shutdown BF and migrate to a new forum at least once (which ends up losing those from the old forum who never found out about the new place), what's stopping us from moving again?
 
The forum is not dying. More than 50,000 members, and new members are joining every day.
 
Hey, it’s not exactly like being on Facebook but this forum or this type of forum will never die.

I check the forum every day and I go through new threads in the 3 main sections general, zoophilia and animal partners. Every day there are at least 3 new threads there. Sometimes they are usless but it certainly does not look like it is dying.
 
I have seen many forums peak and fade out. There are many factors. One is that there are only so many things to be said about certain things and once those are posted people don't add much more. Than people find the forum look up the info they want and move on. Then there is the move in of the porn hounds or the I want a good fuck croud. Which tends to makes the ones who care about thier animals want to interact less and post less. Also some find thier group of friends and then just dont feel a need to be on forums any more or much. Most forums just fade till there is not much left and then disappear.
 
I really hope it's not going under. It's a really good site. Unfortunately I have a number of forums (on a number of different subjects) go belly up.

Very much so. Among other things, one needs only to watch how quickly and how much the "What's New" page cycles.
Thank-you to you and the staff for running such a top-rate site. Nice work!
This is also a good spot for me to remind members to turn off their ad blockers. The ads aren't the least bit intrusive. Not at all.
It's the least we can do, along with visiting the sponsors, which only takes a few minutes, and is important for running the site.

I totally agree… just vast wastelands and misinformation hotbeds. Just using that as a volume comparison.
 
I'm still here but I quit talking because people kept bitching at me. So no pictures no nothing not many messages but I will continue reading what I want on here.
 
Things do seem more quite here though just in general. You would think that these times would encourage people to be more active here ?

This is a very common problem. People whine about not enough activity. What did you do to raise the activity though?
Set up interesting threads which will attract attention.
Post high quality porn.
Joing discussions.
Go through all past threads and bring up old interesting ones.

Naaah, they expect us to do theatre for them. You know, watching two random starngers arguing on internet at 2A.M might be entertaining

People seem to treat this as a matchmaking site, and it’s been kind of a turnoff reading threads that suddenly have thirsty, desperate or, my FAVVVVVORITE- “I want to find a partner on here who will do xyz” interjections. I get that is a driving factor for some people, but it’s incredibly unsafe and silly to try and find a life partner on this site. The people who make these comments seem to rarely talk about anything else, no matter what the thread is.

Other posts seem outright fake, like people writing out their fantasies and looking for people to validate them or be jealous. Not to mention the loud people who vilify anyone who doesn’t want to pursue a monogamous romantic relationship with an animal.

All that being said, I really do appreciate this site’s existence and want to be active despite my disagreements with how people conduct themselves, lol.

It's a similar thing for me. I use to get lost in the internet before and try to spend only minimal amounts of time online.

I'm also a bigger fan of in person face to face interactions with people and do have friends I can talk to in person and both of my partners are into it as well. It's really nice and I value the interactions and experiences.

Other than that I've always ended up with quite a few messages of dudes trying to get into my britches and essentially trying to use their dogs as a way to lure me in. It gets very off putting after a while and I have a tendency to disappear for a bit but always come back after a while. Like bro, come on, your dog regardless of how beautiful they are will not make me want to get in bed with you and definitely won't make me leave my relationship to be with some rando I met off the internet.
