Forum seems to be dying?

Hahahah you can't forget the drivers.....still awful as ever XD I actually cannot speak for cali drivers since I've only been there once. I can speak for Arizona drivers and they are atrocious!!!!!!!!

The world's on fire but it's ok XD just build up a resistance we will be fine XD let's hope at least

I moved to Washington but the government has gone stupid here now too. I'd move again but I'm in a really good spot at the moment and starting over would be rough. Maybe someday.
 
Gov got stupid in what way?

I herd it rains a lot there....it must be wonderful......I've gone 4 months without a drop....I'm the kinda person that when it's rains I'm smack dab in the middle even if it's a storm XD so to go from that to nothing kills me.

Don't give up though sometimes the person will come alone when your not even expecting it.....but it's always ok to have more friends to talk to especially if you are close friends with them :)

Stupid as in...not having common sense. I can eat in a restaurant without a mask but I have to wear one when going through a drive thru. They banned plastic bags to save the environment but they don't fund recycle programs for rural areas...literally everything goes to a landfill in a large part of the state. They passed a law that holds me liable if somebody breaks into my house and steals my firearm because I should have...had it locked up. Not kidding. I'm conservative, yes, but I'd be a lot less upset if our Democratic leadership at least used a little common sense.

Weather is nice though lol.
 
Wow ....that is absolutely abysmal.....the one good thing I can say about Arizona if some idiot tries breaking in I have every right to shot them......I have a very sharp replica of needle (arya's blade form game of thrones) and you best believe someone is getting pointy ended if they try

Home ownership is great but it really does tie you down, especially if the market goes south. Sure, historically, prices always recover after a down turn but you can still end up deciding between taking a huge loss or sucking it up and staying.

Ehh where I bought is booming. I just gotta stay 4-5 years to avoid capital gains

Well in the mean time why don't you visit places heading east get a lay of the land so you know where to go and can save for it......I would say come to Arizona but this place sucks XD however if you wanted to visit I'd love to hang
 
I mean at any given time there seems to be at least 100-600 people online. It's a shame that most are lurkers. We also lost like 6 very notable members all at the same time. All Citizens of Zooville, and who posted regularly. It was definitely odd seeing them all run towards the hills within a 1 month span.

Can definitely understand why some people just lurk though. It's hard to get involved in any meaningful way or feel wanted/valued here, especially for someone just getting started.
 
I try to check in every few days or so, but am also trying to live my life more offline these days. It’s a balancing act for sure. However, here are some things that personally I find annoying and can see how they could contribute to people not posting a whole lot:

People seem to treat this as a matchmaking site, and it’s been kind of a turnoff reading threads that suddenly have thirsty, desperate or, my FAVVVVVORITE- “I want to find a partner on here who will do xyz” interjections. I get that is a driving factor for some people, but it’s incredibly unsafe and silly to try and find a life partner on this site. The people who make these comments seem to rarely talk about anything else, no matter what the thread is.

Other posts seem outright fake, like people writing out their fantasies and looking for people to validate them or be jealous. Not to mention the loud people who vilify anyone who doesn’t want to pursue a monogamous romantic relationship with an animal.

All that being said, I really do appreciate this site’s existence and want to be active despite my disagreements with how people conduct themselves, lol.
