Yeah, love the smell of mine to, theres usually 4/5 involved! My dog usually has full reign of the house and chooses to sleep with me. He’s a heavy sleeper, so doesn’t usually wake up if I sleep poorly—because I’m not worried about waking him up in the night, I usually sleep pretty well! I also really like the smell of my doggo, so that’s a plus for me, as long as he hasn’t rolled any anything nasty.

That's called guard mode. Mine do that too.Mine won’t sleep anywhere else is I’m in the bed. She likes to cuddle for a bit then she’s normally laying with her back to me and watches the door.
I’m afraid she would be much a an actual guard dog though. She tends to be more chicken than dog. That's called guard mode. Mine do that too.
YepIf you have a large breed dog do you let him sleep with you on the bed? What about the hair and smell? Does he wake you up in the middle of the night?
My thoughts exactly. If you're on this forum and you DON'T let your dog sleep in bed with you, that's kinda weird imo.
