Deep quotes you heard or made up?

Probably goes way further back than the movie, but Katsimoto in the Last Samurai said something that stuck with me for a LONG time

"You could spend your entire life searching for the perfect blossom, and it would not be a wasted life"

Or Rush/Neil Peart's variation, from "The Pass", off their 1989 album "Presto":

All of us get lost in the darkness
dreamers learn to steer by the stars.
All of us do time in the gutter
dreamers turn to look at the cars.

For a rock-n-roll demigod, Neil was quite the erudite fellow. Hard to ask him now, of course, but it wouldn't surprise me even a tiny bit to find out he picked up the idea reading Oscar's works and turned it into (part of) a song. Oscar would have been right up his alley.
Oscar or behan hard to beat regards quotes

"Being an asshole isn't a problem."
~ Me in response to the question "what's your problem?"

Dr. Robotnic in the 1st Sonic movie.
Ah... Got it. My knowledge of anything to do with Sonic begins and ends with being aware that there's a video game/cartoon hedgehog character with that name. Based on the moniker, I'd assume that Dr. Robotnic is a villain? (Too disinterested to expend the effort required to type it into google/DDG/etc, so don't feel obligated to answer unless you're so bored you can find nothing better to do - like breathe, take a dump, refill a water glass, or similar higher-priority things)

The secret to getting away with absolutely anything is to put whatever act you wish to commit under the guise of an obscure and beloved religious practice.
For this position is a bubble from which you may launch attacks, yet attacks may not be returned.
No one will dare call you out, for fear of being called intolerant, and you need not justify yourself at all - you are now invulnerable and unaccountable.

AKA Eggman, yes he's the villain, played by Jim Carey in the movies.

I did mess that line up though, it's actually "..., and I care very little about them."

Why do I get the feeing that the guy backed against the wall is mainly thinking "Man, this guy could do with a shot of Listerine..." <snicker>

SOunds like a summation of the BLM and assorted other kool-aid-haired wokesters...

Actually he's a sycophant toady, who just "pinned himself to the wall" at Robotnik's command.

"If they asked me to jump, I wouldn't ask 'how high?", I'd simply jump as high as I possibly could and hope it was high enough."

"Greetings. As a representative from our Earth's government, we invite you to join us on a tour of one of our native medical institutions. We feel it will be beneficial to both of our peoples, and will help to promote a mutual trust and harmony between our two worlds."

"Whenever we're with friends and family, you create happy memories. It's important to be with those who love you because we don't know if we'll have a restart in the end if we missed one choice"

I can't take something away from you that you never had to begin with.
"I maybe wrong,
I maybe right,
I may never see the light.
But you can never take away my freedom.

You can take everything I own,
You can't have what is in my soul.
But you can never take away my freedom."

--Never take away my freedom.
(David Guetta/Joachim Garraud) --

"I've often heard it said that man is a 'rational' animal;
I think it better to call him a rationalizing animal."
