Certified companies (wast majority of forestry companies) needs to burn at least 5% of the areas they harvest every year. So it is not entirely unheard of.
But yes, even more would be better.
The fire is not for the regrowal of the trees themselves, but plants, schrooms, bugs and so forth that needs burned wood or ground to thrive.

I'm down to searching for specific breeds of dog trying to find funny/cute gifs to post. I've ran up a lot of the "cute/funny husky gifs" and "cute/funny german shepherd gif" as well as dobermans, danes, and a handful of other breeds as well. I'm running out of breeds to search for! Lol

I'm quite happy after unfollowing the thread that ZTHorse ended this Debakel. Really a Debakel. No other word for it. Disaster wouldn't even catch the deep-rooted Debakel in it. ??

Yes, surely a Brandrodung is not usually meant to kill the trees themself - some trees only sprout if they are "damaged" by a fire tho.
The deeper the ecosystem is rooted into ground, the easier it recovers from it. In regards to funghi I am not so sure if it will actually damage them intensely, as their root system is mostly underground as well. Might depend on the individual ones.
I'm off to bed now for .. 3 hours? to gain some speed-up for the remaining daytime. See you later! ? ?
