That reads good, at the moment we have another cold episode coming back after a few days of sunny enjoyable weather. Next week should be multiple time in sub zero °C area.
I am doing okay, nothing unacceptable right now. The cold weather limits my tasks efficiency, aside from this and the horrible raise in prices of construction materials all is fine.
Recently bought out multiple factory sales of high quality ginger breads, basically the survival food of food entrepreneurs and taste fetishists. Almost 80 pounds of ginger bread guaranteeing me either getting fat or surviving at least a year if I don't go shopping anymore, except for tea.
Not only on ginger bread but hunting and other food sources would be drastically reduced in necessities. Around 100 days with acceptable energetic nutrition to stay functional without additional foods if the world falls down - and compared to canned ravioli that's just wonderfully edible.
Why ginger bread, you might ask? Because it's edible almost a year after production date without loss in taste and consistence, keeps well without hot or cold storage temperatures (should be just below 20°C which is easily maintained) and is even edible without breaking your teeth off after laying around at -10°C for a few days.
Easy to keep insects away (plastic bag tightly twirled close), great taste and one needs no water or big amounts (carry weight) to sustain a daily 1800 calories diet for a week (around 350g per day is enough).
