Does not sound like that construction of yours would aid in seeing what needs to be seen.
Hmm, depends on if the things seen are alive animals or things. If they're animals or humans, they are afterwards surely somewhere else.
Regarding floodlight I've solutions with the power of a flak / stadium light as well which weight below a kg. But they're only for short-time usage on that high intensity light emitting levels.
I guess they could be classified as a tactical weapon as well, as they have tactical strobe functionality which confuses and bedazzles mammals.
Maybe a thing to protect from bears? Not sure how those react to not seeing anything. Their noses are quite good.
If all you need is "daylight between trees", I suggest solutions like this one:
The Astrolux EC06 demands attention when punched into turbo, but suffers from some fairly critical shortcomings.

.. with Anduril 2 firmware, as they have mostly temperature sensors, freely configurable advanced usage scenarios, smooth or ranked up/down variables, can check the battery status by some clicks of just one button and so on. Weights around 700g with three ~72g cells (battery) which deliver up to 54 watthours of power, as such on highest density it at least runs somewhat above 10 minutes I guess.
If you configure this as turbo step and the area for normal lighting below 8-10W of total power usage, it's still brighter than a car's low beam light and runs 5h+. You could swap between both steps with a double click, then.
This variant is somewhat comparable to a 160 to 220 watt LED flak light. Anduril 2 supports as well tactical strobes, low power usage and so on. You can basically use such a flashlight as a reading light which runs 300 hours. There should be neutral or daylight white variants of some lamps as well.
