I sort of have weekend all the time. Extended leave from work.
But the members of the family that have job and education to think about have weekends, so it is possible to spend more time together during weekends.

It has it's ups and downs.
As I would need to carry much more weight than usual if I were to work now, and the reason for my leave needs me to be present and happened by choice (combining it with a little research and sort of a publication of a study, of course), I really don't mind this "vacation".
But I would technically be able to do my job if I wanted, all the meetings would probably be the most difficult to do, for the attendees ability to stay focused on the subject at hand anyway.

Eventually, my work schedule is weird. Although I don't have much plans other than picking up the slack from being lazy and only doing the bare minimum of house chores. Luckily I got the yardwork done last week, that was a big one that I kept pushing off.
