Well maybe not an exceptionally long time. The leaks kind of showed where the game was in development a few years ago. Rockstar is also reporting a large jump in their expected yearly revenue in 2025. Most likely a trailer or 2 will release in 2024, and the game will likely be released in 2025. While that may seem like a very long time, just think 2024 is less than 4 months away. Still too long of an overall timeline compared to GTA V which released in late 2013 and delayed further progress due to the unexpected cash grab GTA V Online ended up being. But it's likely not too far off.

GTA VI and the Elder Scrolls 6 fall into the same band wagon... I have a feeling they'll get released within short time of eachother.
