Hell, I even have a pit too, and several other large-to-giant breed male dogs in my pack. Good to see a fellow zoo around with whom I have so much overlap at a glance. A pig can easily be potty trained as a dog, and (you may be surprised) in nature they don't poop in the same place where they eat. As the user above me already said, they are usually kept in small enclosures (or many of them in little spaces), so, they simply adapt to what they have.

I've been in industrial factories, with hundreds of pigs, not 'villages'. And they were cleaner than cows or other farm animals.
