oh sweet splash apparently brought back a dead thread here, or I just can't see anything not from years ago either way:

Legend of Dragoon, fighting against a friend forced to take up arms against you and his country. Destroyed me as a kid, still hurt when I played it a few months ago.

Also the song I'm Sorry by Joyner Lucas for anyone who just needs to sob for a bit.
