What's stopping you from being with a Dog?

Me personally. I'm not into m/m zoo so me letting a k9 or otherwise mount me is not happening.

As for a female k9 I have been told I am girthier (is that a word) than most, and I know what peeps will say, but I would be worried about hurting my lover.

I have had human females rethink getting in bed with me.

I am as thick as a large pony friend, I would know, because we have a pony stallion, not bragging (well maybe slightly), but as long as you go for a large breed, you will be fine. Think Malamute at the smallest, but better a Great Dane, Mastiff, etc, and you will have no problem. I fit into my rottweiler just perfectly, back when i was 18-19, though it was admittedly tight, just make sure to use lube religiously, and go slowly.

The people who have problems, are the ones who get excited, and go fast, ram in with no patience, or get frustrated and force the situation, don't be that guy. think with the upper head, not the lower one.

If there’s anyone in Washington state, I’d like to know
Be very careful. This is a felony in Washington state and many others. If you decide to meet, do it in public and insist that no dog be present for the first few meets. Harder to prove intent that way. Also you want to get a feel for the other people. Meeting over coffee is safest.

Current living situation is my only hang up. My building is no pets. I was previously an OTR trucker so I thought about owning a pup. Long day of driving, park for the night and make my own truck shake away. I will say tho, horses were my main appeal. But I can appreciate wht man’s best friend has to offer on the daily.

I have an older female dog. She isn't fixed, so I can't get a male. If she passes (which hopefully won't happen anytime soon, I will get a male dog and hopefully reach him to be my lover

I already have one dog, but when she will be gone I doubt I'd get another one... Because of my job... It's a pain in the ass and a source of stress to let someone else take care of your dog and leaving it home alone while you are at work for long periods of time...

Living situation and I have a very anxious and low-key codependent cat. I'm hoping to move into another place next year, hopefully adopt then! I can't wait to take him on backpacking trips!

Living situation. Married to someone allergic to dogs (refuses to consider hypoallergenic ones).
That and trouble finding owners.

I own a doggo. But its interesting because im not really interested sexually in him in any way, i have tried it in the past but he wasnt interested either, and so i stop doing it because he wasnt enjoying it. And since then i never tried and will never try anything with him, i just dont see him that way.

Living situation at the moment. Have never really had a dog as a pet before, our family dog died when I was young. We never got another dog after that and I’ve never had the proper place to. Once I get my own place I fully intend on getting a dog as I’ve always wanted one.

Working hours with no possibility to bring a dog to work with me
Risk of not having big enough income to get the best equipment and food
Insuffcient savings for the case of sudden medical expenses
Appartment that is not ideal for the breed I would preffer

I don't have the space to properly care for a dog at the moment.

If I get a bigger place to live, and have the time and funds to care for one, then I'll be able to look

Just to mention it, a dog don't need a garden to be happy 99% of the time unless it's a reactive one
