What are some things you hate that everyone else seems to love?

Mine would have to be Threedog from Fallout 3. Don't get me wrong, I fully support "fighting the good fight" against oppressors and everything, but as a character he's just extremely annoying, and tbh a bit of an asshole hypocrite. Not only does he refuse to tell you where dad went without helping him, he has you do his chores for him. I mean, how does he expect people to do fighting if he himself stays locked up inside GNR, sending some random civilian out to get and install his dish??????
 
I won't say that I hate anything because that is such a harsh and strong word but I very much dislike gaming and most forms of social media.

it's all good my man, you do you. Gaming can easily get boring rather quickly if you've already played it loads of times before. It's best in short bursts, especially survival games like We Happy Few, The Forest, etc. If you play them too often they'll get old very fast. Hell, despite my profile picture, that also applies to Half-Life, play too much and it gets stale and by that point muscle memory to the point of being able to clear enemies with ease. In fact, I've played it so much that I can easily recite word for fucking word the whole "Good morning and welcome to the Black Mesa Transit System----------" opening. May not sound like much, but back in my Lutheran school we had to memorize bible verses, something I was never good at, yet I've managed to memorize that entire tram ride.

Superheros......movies....tv.... comics.....they are all so cliche......and praised so highly; granted some can be entertaining but when people call every movie that releases one of the greatest???!?! Clearly people haven't seen a lot of film or tv lol

I use to hate superhero movies, but I actually became to really like the mcu I think because how they are all somewhat connected etc. Most other superhero movies I never really gotten into

It makes being a bar tender awkward lol. Most guys who come to the bar wanna talk sports or cars and both I have a negitive interest in and therefore I know nothing about them. I try to change the subject almost immediately.
 
Too many things, in some ways I might be able to be considered a yuppie. I often hate things just because they're popular.

When I was in art school my classmates said that I didn't like anything and would almost play a game of trying to figure out something that I didn't have at least something negative to say about.
 
Communism, socialism, modern air travel, modern technology, modern architecture and interior design, modern "art", modern pop/rap music, streaming, football, basketball, and Amazon.com.
 
These absurdly large breasts on cartoon/animated porn female characters. What the hell is supposed to be sexy on a boob that is twice the size of her head? That's the point when I stop caring for the plot and start caring for her spine.

In my years in that fandom, I do believe that's a youngling+Anime thing. Old farts like me drew them with thunder thighs and big butts, but rarely larger than a C or D-cup.

My dislikes can be cured simply by removing ALL the warning labels, getting some popcorn and watching Natural Selection go to work 🍿
 
Social media, onions, peppers, Tacos, burgers, steak (There are rare exceptions), BTS, Whatever the Hell is on the radio nowadays, Talent shows (or really any form of “reality” tv), Isekai anime, Chinese food (With the exception of Wontons), Identity politics, All sports except for basketball, soccer, and figure skating, I don’t hate Marvel, but I definitely don’t love it, 1Direction, a bunch of modern music artists, Samsung,

And for the biggest one: SMART HOMES. Oh my God, I fuckin hate these things. You have to ask fucking Alexa or Siri or whoever for EVERYTHING. And half of the time they either don’t understand you, or ignore you, so you end up having to ask them over and over again and it’s so annoying to listen to. My family keeps getting this shit for their houses and it’s so annoying whenever I go visit. Is it really so hard to flip a light switch on your own? Why do you need to hear about the weather and the news, when you have the weather app and the news on your phone? Why the Hell do you need a tiny speaker/AI in charge of all your locked doors, lights, Ac, etc? And why the Hell can’t you turn the volume up on your tv with with your REMOTE?! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
