PIE TOWN, NM ?

i haven't been there yet (haven't really been to that part of NM yet), but I hear you can actually get pretty good pie there.

I heard the story, don't really know what was that radio show about, but the result is rather funny.

I think Truth or Consequences was a game show, but I could be remembering wrong. For those who don't know the story, TL;DR the town was called Hot Springs (which is an apt name, since there are some real nice hot springs there) and a radio show put out an announcement that it would do an episode in the first town to name itself after the show, which was Truth or Consequences, NM. Btw, most New Mexicans, from what I hear and from my own experience, call it "T or C" for short.

I'd hate to break down there. The only thing I remember from that town was a ramshackle gas station akin to those of a cliche horror movie beginning...
