Salida's a nice little town....la Fiesta is one of the better Cantinas on that side of the divide. Lol....all the better cayse theres NADA in Cotopaxi.
They get out of order when a newb thinks its "Home towns".

I've only been to Salida passing through it (once stopping at the Safeway there), but I agree that it looks like a very nice little town. Cotopaxi, yeah, I remember it was beautiful being in that canyon and all, but I also remember pretty much blinking and passing right through it. I love pretty much all of Chaffee County. Honestly, though, I think the only place I've been in Colorado that I haven't liked is Commerce City. I'll keep La Fiesta in mind, but El Pinto in Albuquerque, as well as La Choza and Gabriel's in Santa Fe have the bar set pretty high, and they all are east of the Divide...

Since, alas, I can't think of a town in Colorado that starts with U:

Odd twitch of angle I guess. Cotopaxi was on fire when I went thru there. Every firefighter in the State was camped east of Salida
