While i love this website and (a good amount) of the community. I read that this is more of a social less porn type website that was created by mods from here.

How would you rate your experience?
Do you find it to give a closer community feel
How are the members of the community
Are the members active
Have you made any friends?
ARE there any known security issues / is the website safe security wise
Do you trust the website?

If you have anything else to add, feel free to share!

I love the idea behind this website and would love top check it out, but always open to hearing some opinions
i also like that you wont have R rated avatars in your face 24/7 (personal opinion)
Its nice to see the goal is to being a more close knit feel with the different types of people here on this forum.
Some people aren't into the romance side, some only have fetishes, some want meets ups, whatever it is... you fit in either here on the website, zoocacida OR both :p
(At least that's what ive read and believe to be true so far lol)


edit: Someone did post that th age restriction to register is 13+... is that true because that.... that is pretty odd. IMO: Anything that's remotely sexual should be 18+ (NOT sure if this person is correct or not, going to do further research now)

I did actually join Zoocadia today to see how it is like. So far I’ve made a mistake and was not welcomed nicely.

I was interested only in zoocadia. Zoovilleforum is the only current website i use, but i liked the aspect of what Zoocadia claims to be.

Welp, that is a bit odd... I understand that it is most likely clear on where to post and it may get irritating when tons of people repeat the same mistakes.. But they gotta give people the chance to get used to the website / community. Its a small mistake and the post can just be moved to where it needs to be, not super tedious... UNLESS you did some pervy ass weird intro.. then i could see the backlash and would agree with it lol
 
Well, i would say that was wrong of them then. We aren't a huge community and there are many good and bad just like in any community, but its always worth it to give people a chance and see who they are. Snap judgements are never helpful

I am unapologetically myself. Sure, my post is a little much.. but if you think im too much, go find less. I didn't take offense to the two blunt replies. Just makes me aware that those aren't my type of people. I give 100% effort in everything that i do and it will always be that way. Sure i may be a little "much" at times with the way i care for others, speak etc
But that's just me, gotta stay authentic.. if people dont like it that's fine too. Not everyone has to like you

The one that allows 13+ is called zoocommunity, not zoocadia.
Zoocommunity also does not have private pms (the mods read them) and I stopped visiting it since the owner changed since it became completely uninteresting for me both community and topic wise.
The whole 13+ thing makes it even more dangerous than a normal zoo site. You never know who you are talking to.

Saying you were unwelcome is a little bit of an overstatement in my opinion. Since you were unwelcomed by 1 user and a number of other users had no issues with you and replied to you in a friendly manner.
You have to keep in mind that it is a public online forum and therefore you will get people from all around the world with very different personalities.

What!? 13 to join a fucking website devoted to sexuality with animals? That is going to get shut down quick and everyone involved is getting fucked.

Let's call it EXACTLY what it is, the word zoo implies emotional and sexual attraction to animals. If it was an "I love animals in a plutonic way" then it would not have the word zoo in it.

Anyone involved in that website, or any sexually oriented website that allows minors, needs to get the fuck out immediately before it implodes and takes everyone down with it.

I have not been there for over a year. I do not know what their rules are nowadays. I think it was not always 13+ and started as 18+.
I can not remember to be honest.
I will delete my account there though since I am not using it anyway.

I do not think their intentions are malicious. I do not think it is run by pedos or anything like that. But it certainly is a pretty bad idea.

That is unacceptable. They are talking about sexuality and allowing 13 year olds to join and talk. That is absolutely unacceptable. It is clear in their intention to talk about sexuality and sexual themes with underaged people and that is pedophile. I don't care what their intentions are, their actions scream pedos.

The only people underaged individuals need to talk to about anything sexually related is parents, doctors or licensed school counselors.

They do have in their rules that account deletion is possible and from what I understand eventually the content of the account will be wiped completely. So I sent a pm to the admins there to do that.
If anyone else wants to withdraw while still possible, you probably can do it this way.

Very much agreed, Oldman, but that site's been around for quite awhile. First impressions can be important. We have a PG-13 Comic that often shows itself up on the front page....Not an impression we should be giving either.

Same. I was all for it. Until I got about a page or two in. Yeeeeah...... no. Cringe is putting it mildly. I know what ZT was going for, but it didn't quite get there, not the way I think he envisioned it. I do need to stomach it one day and read the whole thing.

Oh hell, pardner, I wouldnt bother...Whatever the intent WAS, It never got there...BUT, at least they should figure out how to keep it off the front page and out of public view. 'Cringe' isn't the half of that when I see it.

It's really hit the ground running, its been surprisingly popular and active since beginning. One common erroneou sentiment I've read from some genuine zoos is that they feel like it's pretentious, creating some kind of elitist club for people who feel holier than thou. That is not the case. It has a real and important purpose that is centered around nonhuman animals rather than the fetishism like this place focuses on, which directly affects the kinds of people (many questionable types I might add) it attracts. As I said here in this Zoocadia-related thread https://www.zoovilleforum.net/threa...-on-the-new-forum-zoocadia.95842/post-2381498, it's not about ego its about not having to encounter gross individuals and videos that are fetishist, bestialist, borderline zoosadist and all around specist. An actual zoo is not someone who is ok with the objectification of nonhuman animals like sex toys and disrespecting them. Zoocadia is a place for them.

The only reason I and some others still hang out here is to provide guidance and education to those unintentionally slipping into borderline abusive, user mindset and behavior. It's all about the nonhuman partners in the end, their comfort, consent, happiness, health and safety. That should be priority #1 with all members here but it isnt. On Zoocadia it is!

It does have a porn section for those who've contributed tp a certain point but it's for tasteful porn only and there's hardly anything there because most everyone there incl myself is more focused on love, education, fun, and so on.

I see it as becoming a major hub for zooromantic and zoosexual zoophile education and for researchers, everything that zoocommunity.org shouldve been from the beginning but failed because of it's idiotic and dangerous policies.

Zoocadia is a great place if you're a real zoo and want to be in a community of like minds without having to be around wankers, bestialists and fetishists who objectify nonhuman animals, or you genuinely care for your nonhuman companion as an equal and want to learn how to be a good zoo partner for him/her. Or if you're tired of seeing guy's dickpics everywhere. It's a more positive and enjoyable place especially for women I would say

The security is good, some patches were made some time ago, security is taken seriously, the folks running the show are genuine, trustworthy, skilled zoos who know their stuff and reported issues seem to get resolved quickly.

It's ever evolving and it's great being part of something like this in it's startup stage to help it move up in the world. I see Zoocadia-branded educational videos in the future as a way to do public outreach in all the shitty zooporn websites that allow abusive material that clueless fetishists and horrible zoosadists give thousands of thumbs up all the time. So many possibilities when you're starting a site like this from a clean slate and the excellent captains we've got steering the ship! I encourage all true zoos to give it a chance.

I managed to stomach it. I feel bad for saying that because they had such good intentions with that and put so damn much energy, time and money into it. The art itself was nicely done, but it never should've been furry based first of all, that's just preaching to the zoofurry choir, if even that, and comic form is just not appropriate for that subject matter in my opinion.

The site is not for fetishists and not for personal meetups. That does not make it an elitist community.
The audience the website is for is just different from this forum. And that is good, because there is no need to have two almost identical forums aimed at exactly the same audience.
If someone does not like the rules there, they can stay here and it is not really a problem for either of the forums.
