Point I'm trying to make that appears to be lost on you is that you write like animals are "less than" because they don't go shopping, yet "shopping" is something inherently human, but in the "natural" world, nearly every animal out there is better suited to survival than we are.

I don't see where that makes them lesser

You believe your human intelligence makes you better than animals (methinks that sounds a bit arrogant on your part).

I point out that nearly every animal on the planet is better suited to survival in the natural world on their own. *this is a statement of fact*

Also a fact that if you believe that if you and say a husky were both dropped naked into the Alaskan wilderness that somehow your "human intelligence" would have you better suited to survival than the husky, definitely and factually shows that you are not as smart as you claim, ie, "lacking".

So no, not arrogant or insulting.

You wouldn't have gotten this response from me if you hadn't have said something as myopic as you did.

While the comments posted weren't exactly "worded" per the thread topic, one could argue that they weren't exactly off topic either.

While I certainly found their comments to have a very shallow understanding of animals and k9s in particular, they did speak to their view of animals, which was more or less related to the original topic.
 
Seeing animals as "less than human" reeks of solidified anthropocentrism. Sure, an other-than-human animal cannot speak human languages, but at the same time human animals cannot sniff out tumours or upcoming seizures. All species have their own qualities, all I expect a genuine zoosexual to do is to acknowledge and value those qualities.

The moment you see somebody else as "lesser", it is another gateway to condoning abuse. Not that you are out to abuse them, but anything happening to the animal would be regarded as less of an issue than when it would happen to people.
 
Yes! I’ve owned multiple males over the years, currently just have one, but the amount of people who would contact me just wanting me to let them fuck their dogs out of the blue with no other communication was insane. Like sorry no, my dogs aren’t just sexual playthings
 
I use this forum mainly for porn and only post content related to it, but not only i see my husky as an actual partner, as i see him as one of the best things in my life! i do almost everything with him, i love him and i love pleasing him and playing with him, like, right now he's right under my table as i type this and im petting him with my feet, lol.

This place is a collection of different people from all sorts of backgrounds with all sorts of ideas of animals, a spectrum scaling from people who will hold any animal above any human in terms of care and respect all the way over to people don't hold an informed respect of animals or even an attraction to them, just wanting to watch ladies get fucked by them or whatever.

Not everyone here is good people, and so that makes some people bitter and guarded. It's a bit of a fine line to allow people who are horny and excited and new to these ideas share their thoughts and ask questions and learn while not letting the space turn into a place where bad or malformed or harmful ideas about animals and sex with animals can propagate.
