That was my intention, I figured once I finish going through old-new it wouldn't be necessary to mark for others since I can just put it in "maintenance mode" on my own.I do that with the maintenance mode sections now.
The active threads are in bold and stick to the first page, so once a day or a couple days I go through them to see what is new.
The marking is more useful for others to see where to stop looking through that thread.
I have not been doing that because I review threads from the past to the present and the old threads are dead, they basically do not move at all. People can not go past the first three pages basically, then it is too much clicking.
And @JazzyPaws just for future reference I'm doing this in M/M Dogs so feel free to check new threads (all the threads you've marked will certainly be helpful once I get all the way through the next ~18-19 pages) but don't go starting with the old ones or you'll just end up double-checking everything.
