reminds me of the lighthouses on Mackinac Island

it can't because - believe it or not - there are no lighthouses ON Mackinac Island.

There's the Round Island lighthouse (the red boxy thing) that's on Round Island, to the south-and-east of Mac Island's Biddle Point, and - what you might be thinking of - the Round Island PASSAGE light (octagonal white thing) which is about halfway between the Lighthouse and the docks, closer to the Biddle Point seawall, that marks the north/west side of the Round Island Channel... neither of which are actually on the Island.

R.I.P. to Johnny Hardwick, the voice actor of Dale Gribble from the King of the Hill who passed away August 8th. King of the Hill was one of the staple TV shows I grew up watching.
