And my favorite Stripper...Miz Blaze Starr...she retired from dancing and continued to own this Joint, the Two'o'Clock Club, so called because they were open after the other joints closed....Later she had a little jewelry booth in a local Mall, where I met her....she was maybe 75, then, but still a very attractive lady....and very sweet. This pic probably dates to '63 in beautiful Downtown Baltimore.

"Snatch" Comix. Well that's...not subtle!
Noooooo....R Crumb is NOT known for subtle...."Jizz" was another of his titles, and aside from 'Fritz The Cat' his best-known character in the day was Mr Snoid...who reminds me of certain parties around this joint

The Mountain line here doesnt look like much, until you turn right at the Stopsign, head up around the bend and crest the ridge. The dropoff is about 3000 ft and youre not on top....you can look down and see Vultures flying below you.

This is known as a Hoosier Kitchen....once upon a time built-ins were for the quality folk....and kitchens had a sink and nothing much more....the Hoosier kitchen was a kind of everything-all-at-once cooking and baking center. The "tank" on the right was a flour dispenser, the cannisters held salt, pepper, sugar and coffee. The top was porcelain over zinc... not marble, but cool enough for pie dough...and there were a bunch of other gimmicks. I've always wanted such a thing....but today they cost crazy stupid money.
