There is light at the end of that tunnel, Vixen. You might have to round a few more curves to see it, but, it's there. You know that. I have tons of respect for your efforts at putting your feet in front of each other and pulling yourself forward with each step. Not everyone does that. We're always a little tougher than we think we are.

Thank you @Kristy and thank you, everyone that has sent messages of support. Really, it is not me for whom the support and love is needed. But you all know that. I do appreciate the upswelling of love and caring you have all shown me and others that suffer sadness and the unknown.

That vehicle you can see in its eye? It's mine. And I'm 6 feet above him trying to take the photo while he's trying to get under the pickup to escape the heat. It looks like he's 20 feet away but is 6 inches from the edge of the pickup you can see in the reflection. The reflection in his eye is acting like a crazy wide angle lens. I was actually standing up holding the camera higher because he was too close to focus on. Lenses are weird.
