Im super Lactose-Intolerant, but i LOVE cheese and Lac-free isnt always available, or it can be more pricey...Did I tell you about the time I was laying in bed and he was by my ass and I felt a fart coming and thought it would be funny to fart on him to see his reaction?
His reaction was to fart right back on me... twice!!
OK, who the hell is this killjoy that talks so much sense that the paint is gonna start peeling off the walls!?!?!? And where has the nasty little creature been hiding???1- Risk: there is an inherent risk in meeting ANYONE online. On the internet I could be a busty 20 something blonde, or a 60 year old sailor with a wrinkly dick. You don't know until you meet me.
Which leads me to my main point, I could also be a person who is here to out, and ultimately get zoo's arrested. You just don't know. I could even be the police! There also a tie in that involves risk to our mates. You could injure them, intentionally or not, we don't know you. Getting caught could spell death for them.
Personal risks too, like losing your entire livelihood, spending time in prison, etc. When you desire to meet an owner you have to have an immense amount of respect for the chance they take on you.
2- Objectification: Sadly, what I've seen in this community, not limited to ZV, is that non-owners spamming for meets, also tend to have little respect for the animal, seeing it as just some fun they get to have.
You don't realize the time, effort, care, cost, and emotional investment we make with our mates. The thought of someone coming in to fuck my mate, and show him, or her, little to no respect is sickening. (This is an example, I personally do not share)
Not to mention those that don't understand that the animal has a say, and if they say no, tough luck buttercup. Or those that don't believe they need the owner's consent to even reach the point of getting the animal's, hint, you do, and attempting to circumvent that makes you vile, and unlikely to ever meet anyone. Setting aside the fact that you'll probably get hurt, I mean from the owner.
3- Being actually zoo: if all you wanna do is watch someone screw an animal, or screw them but not the animal, you're not a zoo, period. I don't care what your justification is, you need to, at the very least, have the desire or hope, to take that next step. You have to actually want to touch the animal intimately, to be actually a zoo.
Voyeurs are an even bigger risk, you have no experience nor do you want it, you got no skin in this game, which means us owners, are the only ones risking anything.
4- Sneaky Recording: Some people like to pull out their phones and record. I'm not gonna get wordy here, just read all the news articles of people caught, cause something got out, sometimes it's their fault, sometimes it's not. But this is another potential danger, we, as owners, have to weigh.
5- Conduct: your conduct on the forums is how some owners will vet potential "extras". Acting like a disgusting slut on the forums, does not help your case. There's nothing wrong with saying "oh that's hot" or getting a little slimy, on occasion, on porn boards, but if 80% of your posts make me wanna take a shower, I don't need to vet you in chat, you already did the work for me.
6- Respect: Firstly for our mate(s). You need to respect their mate(s), body language, stop and go signals.
Secondly for us, we let you into our home, at great risk to ourselves, to permit you an experience you are CERTAINLY not owed.
You're not entitled to our mates, we may permit you, and that commands a level of respect. And lastly, respect for the entire situation, and our privacy.
----------
At the end of the day, the only people that prevent you from meeting people, is often yourself. The internet is not this universal mask you can hide behind, more often than not, despite the anonymity, you've painted a picture of yourself, and in the very place you hope to meet someone, guess what, that's now your identity.
Conduct yourself with a level of respect. If all you came here for was porn, well, there's more than enough to get your rocks off, and you won't ever need to worry about this.
But if you're here to meet people, remember, how you act here is your identity to those you message on here. If you haven't got any luck, ask yourself why. Then ask, "Would you trust a person like you, with a mate you loved deeply, and would give it all to protect?"
Other Owners - Especially ones that do permit others, please share your reasons why you would cut a chat, not respond, or refuse to meet someone.

All kidding aside, it's hard to put it much better than you did. Congrats. Now if we could just figure out how to pound this concept into the thicker-headed "I think with my dink" types...
Funner, or just funnier-lookin'?I'm the funner version of the monster hiding under the bed![]()

I totally agree with you. Honestly I don't have a clue what I'm doing in a chat room--and all that chat cacophony does make it difficult to just observe and understand anything. I think what I appreciate about forums, even though it's been more years than I care to admit since I was actually active on a regular basis, is how they really havent changed all that much since they began in local BBS's, before we even had the internet. If that doesn't put a time stamp on my forehead, I don't know what ever willSo much gold in this thread. I could respond 6 or 7 times. Hell, I just might! Let me start in defense of forums.
Perhaps my muzzle is greyer than I thought, but chat ain't all its cracked up to be. I wouldn't trade it for a good forum, and I hope I don't live to see forums die out if everyone goes chasing chat/IM in droves. I like our 'traditional' platforms like these boards and email to any modern IM. A letter was a thing worth waiting for -- and still is. Penpal'ing or posting on forums gives us pause, and the results are better when we take our time. Its a chance to sit down and think before speaking. Written communication, I feel, has always been superior to verbal communication (I lump chat/IM into verbal since they're so similar). Writing allows us to compose our thoughts, consider carefully what to say and how to say it. Draft and revise, revise again. Hone a paragraph til it best reflects what you were trying to get across. Produce something meaningful, contribute it, and its on the wall for all to benefit from. Won't be lost to the ether of a closed chat session or a shift in the room's discussion.
Ditto, post history is an important part of vetting, but its also fun all on its own. Discovering a new friend and learning about the person, taking time to read what they already put their time into writing, instead of having them trying to rehash it all in realtime on a chat. They've already written much of what we'd ask, so its on us to go read it. Turning the pages of post history is not unlike reading the collected works of an author to come away with a more complete understanding of the person behind the words.
None of that can be done with IM. Chat rooms, to me, always just seemed full of noise. Everyone's talking at once. All of us riding the waves of one mono-topic after another. Or we're going off in 'private chats' like we would be here in PMs anyway. Forums cleanly divide everything. Filter the noise, bring order to chaos. Innumerable threads organized by topic and its all longevous, searchable, with no rush to respond.
Now you kids mind the fence and stay off my lawn, hear?
I've been careful about saying what I'm building or fixing, because I am active elsewhere with projects of various types. I sure wouldn't want someone putting two and two together... This is not what I'm doing, but an example... How many people would be searching for info about a specific valve on a White truck for instance? Or be talking about doing a specific job on a jig grinder? Or making Instagram reels about doing a specific job? Maybe my paranoia is too great, but it has served me well. That's about all I talk about in PMs. My farm this, my animals that, my projects this, my plans that. What I'm working on today, yesterday, tomorrow. How to build this or fix that. Two pages of threads with users. I think people are sick of hearing from me by now! ?
Exactly, this place is not setup for any serious conversation or even just chitchat. Though one could easily join an irc chat. If there was enough interest I could set one upYeah, but forum posting is so awkward when it comes to causal chatting. I wish this place at least had a chat box...
It’s too great, I don’t even understand half of what you said or care about 90 percent of it.I've been careful about saying what I'm building or fixing, because I am active elsewhere with projects of various types. Sucks but it’s part of the territory unfortunately.I don't mind to chat on here, but it's always the same stuff and I just give up.
1. Wanna meet to use my animals
2. Want to know how or where to do stuff
3. Always sexual
4. I hold the conversation
Plus if I upload any content I try to make sure it's not an identifiable location/animal or whatever
Well..... If that info happens to be a White with a 8v71 injector timing adjustment settings, seeing as how the detroit does not have valves to adjust........How many people would be searching for info about a specific valve on a White truck for instance?
They have valves, they're just all exhaust. Injector timing for them does exist, it's just that it's via the gears, and the rod setting on individual injectors. Also, I'd probably respond favorably to such a messageFirst off
Let me introduce myself with and solicit you with a gratis dick pic and a proposition

To chat assumes the parties to it actually have something to say and theres at least a little comonality. You're correct; much of it is not worth the effort when you DO find it.Even just talking DMs as chatting, there's plenty of reason for it to be diminishing. Fact is, a lot of it is not worth engaging with.
