Is treatment always necessary for cancer?

Cancer is mutation. Mutation is the mechanism for evolution. No not all evolutionary dice are winners, in fact most are not, and when it's a bad dice throw the recipient gets to die and not pass those bad dice on to another generation.

Cancer is a perfectly normal part of all life and isn't something to be cured. It's in fact necessary.

Its a tough to describe situation. Some cancers are relatively easy to deal with. Some are Not. I think I was trying to get that across. Im at the three year mark...in two more years I drop one annual visit to my Oncologist. yay.

Bloodwolf...I know some of what youre actually saying....as opposed to people who ask questions out of idle curiousity. Sorry you had to go through that. Treatments and strategies are getting better. Small consolation, I know, but the only one I can offer.

For the rest of you....take the hint. Google is good for little else, but its good for information.

Most men get Prostate Cancer if they live long enough....but it isnt necessarily an old man's Disease....it is, however, the occupational disease of Cowboys.
 
I am a cancer surviver and all I can tell you about it is if your lucky enough for them to catch it early then your chances of living through it increases . I had colon cancer, they found it in the begining of 2010 , they did surgery on me. 2 weeks after they found it. they removed two and a half foot of my colon . then went into chemo for 6 weeks . if they would not have caught it early and did the surgery and chemo i would'nt be typing this right now . so what ever you do if you think something is wrong with yourself or the doctor says something is wrong dont wait to act on it ..

I was seeing a small amount of blood on the TP when I wiped and I mean a very small amount. I didnt really feel any different .. if that is what you are asking me.

This is what im wondering thanks. This helps identify if i could have it if i have it ever
 
the best thing is preventive maintenance . the only way they caught it was . my doctor told me sense i {was lets say} of that age where you should begin getting certain test done like a colonostopy [ cant spell it] . thats when they found it so you may have to ask your doctor if ant test for anything needs to be done at a certain point in your life.

You mean regular check ups
 
yes regular check ups and any test he deems you should have . like colonostopys and other things
 
well i hate needles also but blood tests are a yearly requirement for preventive maintenance.. i just turn my head and think of a hot woman .. it usually works for me ?

I mean i REALLY hate needles. I freakout if one gets near me.
 
hey let me tell you how much i hate the needles when i was younger i could not watch the nurse drawing blood I would pass out .lol ?
 
my secret now is to turn my head close my eyes and think of a hot woman and a k9 or horse or even me . ?
