If zoo wasn't taboo would that take away from the appeal?

Oh gosh, a bit of a mixed bag I guess.

Predominantly, I'd be WAY less anxious and stressed about my interest, and maybe I'd be able to run for local office without this sword of damocles hanging over my head all the time!

But, to a much lesser extent, the fact that it was forbidden and definitely "something I shouldn't be looking at" was part of the appeal at first and made it have a much stronger impression on me. I like to think that it being more socially accepted would result in me still being interested and happy, but you know what they say about the Butterfly Effect.

I don't think it would take away from it. But to those who like the taboo aspect may seem more vanilla. Sort of the way many kinks have become as they were more widely accepted in the world and less back room.

For me it’s nothing todo with it being taboo, like I assume most people here would wish it wasn’t frowned upon etc…

I can’t really explain, it’s just something so carnal about a woman being taken by a dog that turns me on.

For me its not sexual attraction I'm ace, but I'm a people pleaser (and puppy pleaser) and demi, so I would be greatfull to have this normalized and to have friends into this too.

If zoophilia were suddenly widely-accepted, that would not magically make all animals ugly. Big cats, wolves, et cetera would still be as hot as ever to me. Animals are sexually appealing in their own rite, regardless of what society says about them.

I was first attracted to animals when I was young; long before I knew or cared what the general view on zoos was.

Not at all. I personally don’t believe it’s part of the equation for most. Although there are those that do get
Spun up by risky sex

No, I don't know what they say about the butterfly effect.

And no, it wouldn't make a difference to me either way. I still wouldn't talk about it either.

I'm new here and would like to get to know some of you wonderful people!

I'd like your guys opinion on the title question. If beastiality wasn't considered taboo would you personally be as into it?

I would, I might be even more into it. if I saw people in my life that i wouldn't expect participating.. I'd be very turned on.
Would not change anything for me

No because it's the act, the sex, not the taboo that's the appeal. Granted, mental stimulation can play a part if you want (ohh I'm having sex with a dog for example) but, for me, it's the act and connection. No different than if with a human
I think I fall sorta in the middle of this. No experience, but with the appeal of it and for women active in it. It's not that it's taboo in my mind turning me on, it's the intense pleasure they've told me about over the years, that I've seen in videos, and hope to still see in person one day (maybe experience). Some women may masturbate with their fingers only, some may sit on a sybian until they can't remember who they are! Both are hot, different intensities and pleasure, and both a turn on to me (who doesn't love seeing a woman experiencing an O?). I don't see the pleasure received from an animal as being taboo, just a different way and level of pleasure, like a sybian, so the appeal I think would always be in my mind if they are enjoying themselves, whether taboo or (k)not! Not being an owner, I can't comment on the connection during, that I can only assume is more personal to each.

When I was starting out (in my teens) it was the rush of it being taboo. I was in a zoo-frenzy. Which in my adolescents was wrong and stupid. As a young adult my views and feeling changed as I matured it was not about the sex it was about the connection, warmth and love I had for my furry partner. No now the fact that it is “taboo” does not matter.

Not a bit for me, quite the opposite, it would be even more great with half of the fetishists hopefully gone becuase it would not be "dirty enough" to be a taboo. As an sexual orientation and not a fetish, it would just bloom :) What a nice fantasy, imagine how this forum might look! :D

Not one bit. I'm a zoo because I legit just love animals. Has been the prominent characterist of my sexuality since it began, before I knew what laws were or cared about social norms.

One of the layers I do like is that it's generally regarded as dirty, depraved, etc - that's sort of a theme in a number of the things that I like about sex, but that being said, I still have plenty of fun with non-taboo acts so I think I'd still be plenty hot for the idea of it all.

Perhaps only a bit in the psychological element of things, but it would certaintly make it a lot easier to live.

No it would not! It may actually make it more appealing because you could open share experiences and find partners easier!
