How many times can a dog mount in a day?

One time, due to the pandemic, I stayed at my dad's summer house outside the city, it was safer, I smoked weed, drank wine and went out on a bike through the search, I ended up hooked with the dogs of the house where I lived, a German shepherd and a Labrador god! smoke weed and drink sweet wine while they kill you! it was the best!
 
It might happen that a dog can easily mount twice in a day, but it depends on how he feels, the type of dog and the excitement he recieves.

I have two golden retrievers and they usually mount me twice a week, one after the other, but sometimes i notice that one of them is willing for more, so depending on needs , or if i'm busy , i make him wait a bit or give him what he is looking for.

How much time can you give them? I mean, are you busy or are you at home all day?
 
There’s people on here who say multiple times a day, we have only done it twice and after that he’s smoked, more than twice in one day would be way too much dick for me
 
Perhaps unlike humans, I think male dogs are generally tend toward "do it once, and do it properly!" kind of approach.
It's not so much that they "can't" do it twice (maybe in some cases more) in the space of a couple of hours. But I think that would be purely if he's trying to follow the lead of someone who is really strongly encouraging / insisting.
I don't feel it is instinctively what they'd normally do. But every dog is different, of course.
A male dog who is "completes" with a female mate (whether canine or human), especially if the knot time is a good five or more minutes, is pretty content with himself. "Job done! Pups on the way!"... he assumes anyway. "Will be back tomorrow though, just to be sure".
 
Never more than two, according to my experiences. Of course your experiences may be different.
 
Breeders typically don’t allow more than once or twice a day. They certainly can do more but the more often he gets his rocks off the lower the sperm count/quality, so any more than that could be a permanent reduction. Can that cause health issues or a lower libido? I don’t know. Technically they can go over a dozen times, but if you’re really concerned, then no more than once or twice a day.
