How common do you think Zoophilia actually is?

Which for reference, trans people are 1% of the population, so think of how many trans people you’ve met or seen around and multiply that by 3-4….
When you put it like that and you think about how many hundred ppl you see in a week, we aren't a voting block or anything but there's definitely a lot more of us around than ppl realize. When you go to walmart on a busy day there's like at least a half dozen other zoophiles in there with you at that very moment...

I was just wondering how common is this? Like it's a taboo and very hard/akward topic to bring up or have a conversation in the real world.

Most have to hide the fact they are into it and have to act being disgusted by it in the real world.

But makes you wonder, how many people around us actually into it. 🤔
I feel like it is deffinetly more common than though. I'd assume 30% humans and animals are always so close together and were all curious by nature.

I'm part of the gay leather community, which involves a lot of alternatives to "normal" sex. I've known a number of guys who are into it - mostly pups (leather pups, not real pups). These days I pretty much just assume that if you're a pup, you're probably into K9. I'm fairly open about my attraction to dogs, and so far pretty much everyone who knows that in the leather community is at least cool with it.

I've thought hard about this before, and I eventually just accepted that it's pretty much impossible to answer this question accurately.

Zoophilia is still considered a heinous crime, often compared to pedophilia, making it clear that whoever's into it knows that they should never talk about it. Then, breaking down the kinds of people who are into zoophilia or are active zoophiles, we have groups such as:

• People who openly come out as zoo and just don't give a fuck, which is a teensy minority within a minority that often gets absolutely shunned by everyone else;
• People like us, who happily talk about it in a specific forum online or in closed groups;
• People from small towns, countryside, farmlands or regions with very little discussion on the matter, who casually have some level of intercourse with their pets or farm animals due to the lack of drama around it, and sometimes don't even know the word "zoophilia" let alone the existence of a whole community around it — even if they talk about it openly, they're too disconnected to make any notable impact in a study;
• People who silently watch zoo porn, never actually having sex with animals or getting in any kind of conversation on the topic with anyone;
• People who would do or do have sex with animals, but it's either only a very casual thing in their sex lives, or "that one thing that happened once out of horny curiosity".

If you think about it, save for the first one, none of these groups would want to talk about it. A big, anonymous study would have most people cringe and ignore it, and no one person or entity big enough on the internet would want to conduct such a study. And if they did, a lot of zoos would probably still lie.

Although, considering how many pets are out there, how much humans love them and how horny we can often get, though, I'd say it's... actually more common than we think!

I agree it is more common than we think, but that number is pretty small. Even smaller for the people who have tried it or are regulaly active. I think it will always be a super secret

Yep. Personally I'm happy if it stays in the shadows. Every time some overly positive zoophiles go out and try to advocate for zoo rights or whatever, it just makes a lot of noise that encourages normies to screw with us even more, sometimes making governments enact some very threatening laws against us.

I do admit I'd love it if it was easy and risk-free to just casually ask my friends if they're into zoo and have several healthy conversations about it, but we all know that's not happening in a million years...

Yes. It would be nice to actually be able to be more open. Or even sort of open.

There's a whole line of very popular dildos shaped like horse and dog dicks. They're all over the place on Ali Express too. While owning one doesn't make you a zoophile, the mass popularity of them definitely hints at something deeper in the human psyche.

Not common, but WAY more common than most people would think. And females are WAY WAY more receptive than straight men. Gay men seem MUCH more receptive than straight men. May in fact be more receptive to zoo than females of any kind. But, that's based on my own personal experiences and is in no way backed up by any science.
I agree. I think even studies that were done people are afraid to admit what they have done.

My wife believes that 45% of people engage in bestiality fantasy at one time or another. But most do not have the guts or opportunity to try it. She says more women than one would expect let doggy have a nice lick. Ideal way to relax after a days work. Come home, poor a glass of wine, sit in the easy chair, shed the panties, spread the legs. Taste the wine while doggy has a taste of the lady. A great way to improve the ladies disposition in a discrete fashion. If you have an itch, scratch it.

I just hope it's okay like in the 20th century. So starting point for ostracism and taboo, that jokes are made and that we are looked at badly, but that no more stupid legislation is made about this complicated trend, we already have enough with it.

It's a valid question, and you're right that zoophilia is often considered taboo and difficult to discuss openly in the real world. Many individuals who have zoophilic inclinations feel the need to hide their interests due to societal stigma and misconceptions.The secrecy surrounding zoophilia can indeed make it challenging to gauge its prevalence accurately. Because of the stigma, many people who have these feelings may never disclose them, even to close friends or family. This can create a sense of isolation and misunderstanding for those who experience zoophilia.

While it's difficult to determine exact numbers, some studies suggest that zoophilia might be more common than one might think. However, these studies are limited, and the true prevalence remains uncertain. Ultimately, it's essential to approach this topic with sensitivity and understanding. Creating a safe space for open dialogue can help break down stigma and provide support for those who may be struggling with their feelings.

With how big the knotty toys community is on all the common porn sites, Reddit and all the different sites at some level the fantasy at least seems pretty common.

OK, now just putting out - this very well may be my horny brain talking, but I feel like I see little details and suggest this is more widespread than is admitted.

We have a place in the country, but the number of intact male dogs is MUCH higher than I see in town. We had a neighbor who always had 2-3 intact males and I wouldn't have been slightly surprised to see her on here. Another always had some barn dogs. The males were intact and the females spayed.

Finally, I was having lunch with a friend who's husband is a large animal vet. He was out doing sperm tests on bulls. She asked me if I wanted to know how that worked. I replied "I think I'm afraid to" when in my head I'm thinking "Hell yes I want to know", but didn't want to give it away. Apparently they put a probe up the rectum and there's an electric current that causes him to ejaculate. But she told me this with that kinda gleam in her eye. I have no idea if they've ever done anything, but it was interesting to watch.

Given how private everyone is, and the costs of getting caught, I can see why people keep is super quite, but it feels like there are some coincidences here...

EDIT: and one more thing. The prevalence of bad dragon toys and dog penis shaped toys. it seems like there's a LOT more of that around as well!

Well we're on here with our private interests/thoughts so it wouldn't surprise me if quite a few others think the same, we just don't know it. I don't think others would suspect me of being on a website like this but here I am so I wouldn't be surprised if someone I knew personally would do the same

A lot of this is more than likely wishful thinking on our part. The prevalence of zoos is pretty damn low, for a variety of reasons, but the primary one is likely because there are simply not as many of us as you might suspect or hope for. And, it can be a dangerous slippery slope to go down to try and connect with other folks in real life that you might suspect. Things can go from good, to bad, to ugly, to prison really fast, so it's always important to exercise due diligence.

I mean, it's important to mention here that I believe there is an ulterior reason for someone to want an animal cock shaped dildo, but to get someone to admit that it's because they've thought about taking the real thing would be next to impossible, and I certainly wouldn't be the first to suggest it.
