Horse statues

Might be for the best then, since as a secular person I don't particularly like to buy into the ethereal/spiritual aspect.
*nods* I kind of had you 'pegged' for being an atheist. There are some things I simply won't argue or debate, religion AND atheism are two. I hold both with equal contempt and disdain...

You indeed are right that I'm an atheist. Although, I'd be of the agnostic atheism variety. Which indeed would make it fruitless to argue about that, because neither position could prove their points. I had enough discussions like this to know that they never benefit anyone and just waste precious time. So we better focus on horse statues some more.

I'll add the Blue Mustang statue to this thread:

A bit too 'dark' for my taste but I acknowledge that there are numerous people that like this type of stuff...

Dark due to the design or dark in the sense of coloration? Because it appears it can be a lighter tone when illuminated properly. If it's the former, I agree, it is a bit dark. Some people call it demonic or "Bluecifer" which the artist didn't really seem to like, but he made it look like that, after all.

US Cavalryman, about the time of the Mexican Campaign of 1916 or just Post. The Rider is carrying the Patton Saber, model of 1913, which Pre-dates the statue. This Side Saddlebag has an attached M-1910 Canteen, and on the left, not-visible, Saddlebag is a Steel Helmet of the Brodie 1917 type, which gives further date information. This depiction is located at Fort Riley, in Kansasitem-63F9QYWG5XZI1LJ5.jpg
