Yes, but it took a while before I felt comfortable doing it. You have to be very careful. I chatted with them here and on session for a long time to get to know them first.

I run a local private group on Telegram for people like us. Owners and legitimate individuals strictly looking for friends. So I totally get it and understand where you are coming from. It is Florida based although. You must be a state resident to submit the join request if interested.
 
Last summer I did. Almost a neighbour in fact, but he has deleted his accounts and we lost contact some months later. I don't blame him, EU is a bitch with tracking everyone's movements and it doesn't stop even after it has all the surveillance in the Europe.

We were also somewhat different, and our values for a deeper friendship didn't match. At least the first and last time we met, it was quite clear we were just acquaintances.

I would definitely meet new "Villegers" if possible 😄

In general, saving some lone crusadeer like it seems there was in USA some time ago, Police is possibley occupied in other more important crimes.
However, and this is very important, first meet should not be to do anything "ilegal".

Just talk, coffee in a public place and see how one feels for the other. Even if that was a cop and you did not realize at first, he won't have a case out of talking of things as long as you do not express the intention to act on it or confess short and plain.
 
Close to, but in last moment I realized it was all fake... we talked since quit a while here in chat. And yes, i ignored the red flags... But just a day before the actual meet up i went deeper and found out she is just a big fraud..
