My philosophy is 2 standard rounds and different dispensers, I moded my Ruger PC9 to use the same mags as my CZP10F mags.

I have a Type 56 7.62, want to get a bolt action for it and would love to find a pistol that used the same round lol, even if I gota make one

Save money, reload! I reload my 9mm, going to invest in 7.62*39 reloading as well
I've been collecting my brass for nearly 25 years with plans to get a reloader.

I'm thinking that should be one of my next purchases since I'm swimming in brass at this point..

Not to mention that I've been steadily upgrading the SFAR..

Just put a new LaRue trigger in it (LOVE IT!!!), as well as changing the stock to one with an adjustable cheek rest, suppressor, Vortex Venom scope, and just bought a different adjustable gas block for it, but need a different gas tube to use it..

I'm also doing the deal where I'm getting rifles that use the same cartridge as my pistols..

Looking for a mares leg in .357 mag since I've got 2 .357 mag pistols (my go-to if I think there might be a problem).

That's the SFAR before the stock upgrade

It is very handy and economical.

I like the fact the mags are interchangeable

I de-prime, clean and case prep them all and store them like that, then put primers in them and store ready to accept powder and lead, then you can dial the load based on what the gun likes, the Pistol likes 3.8 grains of win 231 with a 124grain plated lead round nose in it.

Very easy on the wrist and good consistency, the PC9 likes a hotter round so more closer to factory at 4+ grains
I'm going to need to figure out what my .308 and .30-06 like.

Those are my long range guns for now.

I've taken the .308 out to 300 yards at the range, and 430 yards or so in the middle of nowhere, but was just shooting at a lighter colored rock face on a canyon wall, so hard to know what my grouping was, but pretty much everything seemed to hit that lighter colored area which looked maybe a foot or so wide..

The cheap as .30-06 has put 2 through the same hole with a cheap as Chinesium Center Point scope from Walmart, but damn that gun has some kick and jump to it..

Thinking on getting it threaded for the suppressor and maybe even casting some weights to put in the voids in the composite stock...

I’m British, and I legally own a number of fire arms. Mostly hunting rifles but also various shotgun’s and also pcp air rifles, and pcp pistols.

I got the spear chucker plus

I was looking at the Dillon I think.

It's been awhile since I've looked but my friend decided to go in with me on it and go for the best they have.

Not cheap, but going in halves makes it easier, and given the amount of brass laying around...

I had an old 357 bolt gun myself for a bit before I sold it. Not a bad caliber for both hand guns or mid range rifles.

I'm a Glock fanboy. There, I admitted it. lol That being said, I like other weapons that use the Glock mags like the Keltec Sub2000. I have also been experimenting with Meta Tacticals PCC conversion kits. I just preordered the MX1 kit but already have the Apex kit. Those kits have gotten me thinking about 3D printing something similar that maybe I designed myself. Just something fun to do...lol

You should look at the mostly new and highly customizable platypus 2011 . Not a Glock but it takes its mags and is quite a good platform for a cheaper line of 2011s. I don’t mind glock but I do prefer steel and the ergos on Glock isn’t my sip of tea.

I've bought stuff from them since they were in Ohio; it was like 2012~14. I haven't looked at their stuff in a while, though. Thanks for mentioning it. My CC is slowly getting maxed out right after buying a boat...lol

I've been an adrenaline junkie all my life
Nice! I wouldn't say I'm an adrenaline junkie, but I ride motorcycles and learned on a dirt bike. Got some road-rash on my forearm when I had to lay down a street bike going about 35mph to avoid a collision, but that's about it. I'm looking forward to warmer weather so I can do more riding. I've done the skydiving thing and that was pretty exciting. Hardest part, of course, is stepping out of the plane; every part of my being was like "WHY DO THAT??". Made me motion-sick as hell, but luckily didn't wretch my guts out until well after we landed.
But I'd have to say, something I find especially exhilarating is high-speed "mag dumping" 00-buck out of a semi-auto 12-gauge shotgun. :D Wheee!

Currently own 7 rifles and 2 shotguns, and about 1,500 rounds assorted. Going to be applying for my pistol permit later this year. Unfortunately, NY likes to take there sweet ass time, so it may be 2026 by the time I get it.

Just busted my new "Bodyguard 2.0" out of "waiting period jail" yesterday - Picked it up mainly so as to have something that doesn't take my sweatpants (doctor's orders for another few weeks post-surgery due to where they made the cuts) down around my ankles every third step I take. Ever tried hanging a Glock 17 or a S&W Model 15 on a pair of sweatpants? (Never mind that the idea of wearing a belt with sweats is just too ludicrous to even contemplate...)

You're doing it all wrong! You should go with suspenders and sweats... now THAT'S a look!

You need a belly band holster. Is it cool? No. But it’s the best hold regardless of gut size kind of thing. No paints to hang on.

Shoulder holster. Belly band is also not a bad idea. I got one of those too, but now i can't use it due to reasons I won't get into.

Just got back from the range a bit ago. Seems the reviewers are right - It's a sweet little poodle-shooter, but out-of-the-box, it shoots left (About 2-3 inches left at 7 yards. Unfortunately, I forgot that I intended to pack my brass hammer and drift set, so couldn't "dial it in" today. Ah well, next trip.

I don’t miss having to go to a range. It’s great having the morning coffee and walking out back. Also, keep a spare kit in the truck. It’s saved me several times back in the day.😂

IMG_5044.pngMade a new purchase a few weeks ago. Needed a good cheap rifle. Ruger 10/22 with a Chinese red light. Great for muskrat and beaver control. Beavers stop up the drain pipes in our ponds. And the muskrats dig under the banks for their dens. And makes the banks collapse. Almost flipped a tractor off in the pond once when the bank collapsed under me.

I do not own firearms and I am happy about it
That’s good, glad you are happy. I have a collection of over 75 rifles or pistols. And I’m happy about that. A firearm is a tool. I can kill a man with a shovel. Doesn’t make the shovel bad.
