Nowadays I prefer exoskeletons over able-to-shoot walking sticks. They don't let there be a moment of amusement resting in my enemies eyes. ?

It's quite simple: Doctor Octavius infused the exoskeleton-tentacles with an AI. Which helps developing things and working on his sun-in-a-glassroom problematic experiment.
And to control the tenta...tickles without having to actually communicate verbally or via signs / hands / expressive, he links the tenta..tickles to his backbone nervous system.
This is as well the reason why he can't go free after the accident. The exoskeleton melted partially and is fused on his backbone to a degree which would at least ruin his nervous system by removal.

It's as it is, people are .. able to do things and often enough a bit crazy.
Because.. to be honest, my good demon floofer: if you see the all-day activities of humans, their simple goals and their non-understanding of your doing, your motivations, if you see how ignorant or belittling they are to your tries to actually "appear like them" - same as boring, same as dumbfondled.. all the time.. and think you(!) have any problem in understanding them(!), which you never had.. but it bores you to death, really..
.. there's not really much one could do than to search relief in the own aspirations and goals. You won't find what you search for in following others in this situation. Never. Their near is always your downfall. Same with Doc Oc(k). If he were single with a few dogs in another basecamp, he would still be happy and fortunate. ?
