I actually have wanted to learn the piano for a long time, but I don’t have one and I just got too busy and it became not a priority. It’s too bad you can’t share your music on here, I’m sure it would be worth listening to. Have you ever considered writing music that you only post on here, or would you be worried about you style/voice being too recognizable?

I went with a $130 Casio 64 key keyboard for my "piano." It's not a bad price, it's touch sensitive, it can do MIDI control, and most importantly it has a pretty good sound to it. What's funny is that I almost never learn actual songs from established artists on piano. I'll usually think of a random but catchy melody in my head. I'll hum it over and over again until it sticks with me, then I'll sit down in front of the piano and basically teach myself how to play it through a lot of trial and error. As long as you can get some free time I'd say it's not too late for you. It just takes practice. Heck, 30 minutes a day is better than nothing and you'll find it getting easier and easier to play as time goes on.

I've thought about it, I even started to write a song dedicated to the love that I have with my Newfie girl. Something personal that I wouldn't share anywhere else but here. I pretty much wrote the entire thing but I ran into a huge problem with the song... It sounds absolutely amazing as an instrumental piece, but as soon as I start writing vocals for it I start to dislike the sound of it. The problem is that I made the actual instrument portion of the song too complex.

I might have to look into getting something like that. I would just have to stick to playing tho, my singing voice is not something you would want to hear ?.

If you ever do decide to share it here I will definitely listen to it.

Well I’m actually heading to bed, so maybe that will give you some time!?

It’s been good chatting with you.

Goodnight y’all.
Nighty-Night and sleep tight. I'll see you in 10 minutes when you inevitably don't go to bed! Lol

I'll create a new song eventually but from start to finish a full song can take 3 weeks to fully write and produce produce. Even more so because I want to try singing in a voice that's different than my own and I want to create a song that's not in my typical style.
