I think its nonsense. Only the truly DESPERATE will reach the oasis, and not all of those. Desperation doesn't create anything, but it often destroys what others create. Some of us destroy as a matter of course. What they cannot add to, they will subtract from.

I dislike the comment, "You can’t say that Hitler was bad through and through ", made by our poster above. I am well aware who he actually is and his mission to antagonise. Hitler was not actually responsible for the VW Beetle, I believe that was designed by Porsche and delivered by VW. All Hitler did was say he wanted a cheap, "people's car".

Sounds like the issue isn't his in this particular thread.
I dislike a LOT of stuff I read. Sometimes, I reach out to understand *why* the poster made the comment. Makes it easier to understand their viewpoint.
I have and have been tempted to "strike back" at some, then I realized something..... I posted it as my status last night: " When we realize that our only business is our own actions, we empower ourselves by relieving our shoulders of others' concerns and actions. "
But, that's just me.
You do what you want, of course.
What I am asking here is just don't ruin this otherwise great thread for the rest of us. I personally disown threads once they end up in the DF.

So from a barely-week-old member who's *NEVER BEEN HEARD FROM BEFORE*, you're able to know that his (her?) *VERY FIRST POST*, indicates he's on a "mission to antagonize"?

We really need to get you on a police force somewhere - you'd surely be a one-person cure for crime! Just walk a suspect you've never seen or heard so much as a peep out of past you and have him say "hi", and you'll no doubt be able to save everybody the hassle of figuring out whether he's actually the perpetrator! Think of the savings in police personnel, the sudden down-tick in cases of police brutality and/or misconduct, the reduction in unjustly accused and/or convicted innocents! You'd be a walking miracle of law enforcement improvement! When can you start?

It has nothing to do with god, Pardner. You might consider that the lady knows of what she speaks. There are wheels within wheels in any situation....especially in this pile of idiocy

So I'm hearing from other directions. I'm stuck with what I can see, which is a new name, with one lonesome post, getting jumped on for what appeared to be a fairly minor "let's stir the shit" post like it was a string of axe-murders and death threats. Assuming the "behind the scenes" is correct (Which I don't actually doubt that it is - just ain't privy to it) I'd think the proper mode of action would be "shoot first, ask questions later", not "kick back and wait for it to show itself", but... <shrug> You know how direct I tend to be... When it comes to shit like this, I'm not "the bull in the china shop" - I tend more toward the "herd of stampeding buffalo that LEVELED the china shop when they went through it, then came back and trampled the remains when the shop got bashed into enough times to make it fall down".
 
Well, keep in mind, more fun or less, better looking or not, I was born, and remain, a "one-holer", and I seem to recall you saying on various occasions that "two-holers" are much more your cuppa tea :)
