Well, it is a bit of an exaggeration. A truck like that... unless it was sub 100,000 miles... would probably go for more like $12k - $13k around here, which is still pretty sad. Those old Geo Trackers used to be $3k at most for a decent running model, but long gone are those days. Although "cash for clunkers" ate so many of those old vehicles. One of the worst things to happen to automotive enthusiasts right after the Chicken Tax and the 70s oil crisis.
