Double 1 38 double 4

Mmm... that was a good turkey leg I had not too long ago. While it was fully cooked, there's nothing like creating a base with butter, a little bit of bacon grease, pink Himalayan salt, black pepper, thyme, cilantro, and garlic. Throw that turkey leg on the grill, and brush the butter sauce on every 2-3 minutes while flipping it. Flip a total of 4 times. Friggin' delicious!

Ever tried cooking the leg not only in bacon grease, but wrapped in bacon?
Adds the hint of smoke to the turkey.

Otherwise I could recommend bear canned chicken, if you have not tried that.
Not with that American "beer" you have, but with a darker, thicker kind.

Mmm... that does sound good! But no, I haven't tried that as of yet. I do plan on getting some cornish game hen in the near future, so maybe I'll try your idea on that.

Typically when I cook with beer, it's to make a stew. Flat iron steak, onions, carrots, a green bell pepper, and potatoes, in a beer base broth made with beer, water, mushroom beef bullion, salt, black pepper, parsley, garlic, and a bit of soy sauce. Makes for some good eats!

A stew with beer instead of water makes for good eat indeed!
Not really a fan of beer as a drink, but very much as an ingredient while cooking.
Tendering a steak with spices, fry it just to close it up, we talk very short time, adding some really dark ale and let simmer for a couple of hours.
Just melts in your mouth.

And I did not plan talking food, just figured that I could make a joke about it in DWTM.
