The boreal forests are a very interesting space of life for many animals, but quite low in change of the temperatures around zero degree °C if I remember correctly. Annual temperature being some degrees around freezing point?

Do you have your own forest area which you can interfere with / modify as you wish or is it related to profession and as such paid foresting?

Let's just say I know quite alot about the boreal ecosystem and even something about forestry.

Boreal = confiner trees and thundra, average temperature in juli >10°C, growth season <100 days per year.

Over 10°C seems like acceptable temperatures for some growth, but < 100 days per year is clearly a low amount.

Germany has around 230 to 260 days of vegetative period. Might even be higher due to temperatures rising.

Just the definition of what a boreal forest is, if it would be warmer and have a longer growth period, it would not be in the boreal zone.
