By the way: from my analysis of body language signs the third image I posted might be somewhat.. weird. I just noticed the facial features of the dog (wolf?) and she's clearly showing aggressive signs, by the ripples on back of her snout and blinking teeth. Okay, her flews are not pulled up and the ears are non-aggressively upwards, at least something positive.
But with this facial expression a dog would usually just bite the one doing that to her. And show further signs of distress. No idea what the artist thought by drawing it. Maybe: "Oh, she's not satisfied.." - but in reality this looks waaaays different. ?
Ripples on the back of the snout are a very, very bad sign, together with growling. Even worse than just lowered ears.

Yes, that's mostly the case. Same goes for .. weirdly drawn out feral genitals and such, but quite often those are as well freedom of interpretation, even if the artist knows how they look in real life.
